11 Nov 16 UTC Good game everybody! Sorry, Italy....I had to try. If it had become clear that I wasn't going to get 18, I would have clicked draw before you were eliminated.
11 Nov 16 UTC GG Lion, well done.

Tough game. Could have pulled out the 4-way I think. France and I couldn't get on the same page unfortunately.
11 Nov 16 UTC gg everyone - congrats Austria
nice try England - too bad we couldn't get Italy on board a little earlier!
11 Nov 16 UTC gg
11 Nov 16 UTC Think there was still time after Italy went on defense from Austria. I would have left Tunis alone (have to confess, I was deliberately cutting support for your attack there). I'd have liked a 3-way there but we were just too late to the punch.

Russia and Germany mindfucked me with the rogue units real bad
11 Nov 16 UTC It felt like maybe England could have gotten to Livonia perhaps? Not sure when...but if so, Prussia would fall, then Berlin, etc etc.
11 Nov 16 UTC I don't like to attack Aus as Italy early on but..
11 Nov 16 UTC maybe I should have lol
11 Nov 16 UTC Thanks President and Warpath! Soooo happy.
11 Nov 16 UTC well done Aus GG
11 Nov 16 UTC I felt so bad for you, Ranscott my man. Our alliance was a thing of beauty! Really hated to turn on you.
11 Nov 16 UTC Thanks Ranscott!!
11 Nov 16 UTC would have done the same in your spot Lion. No worries.
11 Nov 16 UTC By the time I could get mobilized to take Livonia you had the defenses up. Just lost an absurd amount of tempo chasing down the Russian rover in the Atlantic. Totally fucked up getting contain in Scandinavia which is pathetic for England tbh

Italy I think you were fine. Think you took a turn or two too long to get ready for Austria, but in fairness, your odds were really long no matter when you did it. Main thing was France (not to bash bud you were ok this game) just not being on the right page about Tunis etc. Nobody could draw up the line w/Tuscany-Rome
11 Nov 16 UTC Yea Lion your play was 100% correct, go for the win every chance you get. WP
11 Nov 16 UTC Next time I am Italy, hope none of you are Aus. Going to take out some aggression lol
11 Nov 16 UTC thx thx! I did hope that France would take Tunis.
11 Nov 16 UTC lol Ranscott...back to my usual Spring 1901 Trieste to Venice then. This was the first time I've left Trieste open in forever first turn.
11 Nov 16 UTC I pretty much always open Vie -> Gal Tri -> Alb every game as Austria in gb. The way I see it, you're either going to get fucked by Italy in 1901 or you're not, and you're not going to win if you do get fucked by Italy in 1901, so hedging against it just hurts you because you're giving up win% in scenarios where you can actually win to gain win% in scenarios where you basically can't
11 Nov 16 UTC Spring 1911 was a gamble to keep France out of Piedmont. I greatly feared an attack on Munich with Baltic cutting Berlin's support - I would have lost Munich that turn had Burgundy attacked with Ruhr and Kiel supporting.
11 Nov 16 UTC I see the logic in that, President...and a big part of my agrees...but for some reason Vienna-Galicia, Budapest-Serbia and Trieste-Venice has really worked well for me in gunboat. 2 solos and many 3-4 way draws with an AI going.
11 Nov 16 UTC I liked it. I went for it to try to punish the gamble but we couldn't get it
11 Nov 16 UTC Again, i was attacked by FOUR of the six other countries!?! Do i have a target on by back? are you guys reading my orders before you write yours? what the hell?!?
11 Nov 16 UTC Lol. Such is the fate of Germany
11 Nov 16 UTC I was really surprised when Austria and Italy allied together from the onset. I thought such an alliance would be difficult in gunboat... Alas I was wrong
11 Nov 16 UTC AI's seem to be the norm these days. I've had real good success with Austria in those...not so much with Italy. Poor Brad...I was growing quickly, didn't want to attack Italy, couldn't really attack Turkey, was attacking Russia...I simply had nowhere else to go! Sorry bro!
