05 Oct 16 UTC gg everyone. nice coordination for munich, i must say
05 Oct 16 UTC guak, nice telepathy to take back munich. :)
Zmaj, helluva game...congrats!
gg all!
05 Oct 16 UTC C'mon, Guak! You frustrated me!
05 Oct 16 UTC Sorry. I got called into a meeting halfway through this game, and that completely threw me off! Nice game, all.
05 Oct 16 UTC All I know, is Italy threw his fleets at me so fast, and next thing I knew, I was scrambling to save face..... thanks for the help England, at the last there.... I sure needed it!
05 Oct 16 UTC I was too late to recognize italy's growing strength. Too caught up with France who had a nice move into Ruhr to mess me up.
05 Oct 16 UTC yeah, you attacked france for too long, germany, but i doubt it would have changed the balance of forces anyway. i was greatly helped by inexperienced austria who let me into vienna in 1901. also, a crucial moment was getting both marseilles and spain by outguessing france
05 Oct 16 UTC gg zmaj, really spotless

@hauta it was great that you recognized it was the only way to retake Munich, but I was so stunned that you did not follow through with Gas-Bur. I almost tried MAO to Spain, but in the end I thought that if we managed to take Munich you would be doing Gas Bur and it would fail for sure. It was a brave attempt to stop Italy after the stunt Turkey pulled on us. Also, I wish you would had taken Denmark years ago so you could build another army in Kiel.

@Cap1: why would you ruin the game to all of us like that? you could had held Italy in place for a couple more years and allow us to get a solid stalemate line.
05 Oct 16 UTC @steve: how did I frustrate you?
05 Oct 16 UTC Sorry Guak. I got called into a meeting, and it completely threw me off. You are absolutely correct. I thought I had nothing to do this afternoon.

Next time.
05 Oct 16 UTC There was a point where I should have actually swung North through Rumania, I noticed him coming towards me, but I put the wrong orders in, and it changed. I'm still new, so I apologize.
05 Oct 16 UTC gg Zmaj.
05 Oct 16 UTC ok that's cool
05 Oct 16 UTC lol brainbomb went bankrupt
05 Oct 16 UTC lol
05 Oct 16 UTC I'm in 6 games currently.
05 Oct 16 UTC Guak, I didn't follow thru with Gas->Bur cause I think I supported MAO to Spain. Also, if I got in burgundy and ceded Gas, that left Brest and Paris open. Obviously, hindsight...
05 Oct 16 UTC Not really, Guak. Lol. Not really. It sure did feel like we all could have worked together a little sooner. Still, Great game, Zmaj. I thought you came after me a little early but I would have been a little more prepared in about 2 or 3 turns so it turns out you were a genius ahead of your time.
05 Oct 16 UTC Congrats ZMaj! At least I was defeated by the winner.
05 Oct 16 UTC Indeed. Thanks for playing, everyone.
05 Oct 16 UTC Inexperienced is exactly the right word lol
05 Oct 16 UTC I'm still a newbie...and this site has given me Germany 3-4 times, Austria twice and Italy once or twice. Eek gads, ya'll like to thin out the herd early, don't you?
05 Oct 16 UTC @Hauta: I understand why you did it, not complaining, just saying I was surprised because as a combo the moves made a lot of sense to me, and it was highly unlikely that Italy would expect us to guess Munich right. But yeah, definitely well played anyway.
05 Oct 16 UTC @Steve: it's not that zmaj came at you earl, is that you kept insisting on attacking me for far too long. Once you disbanded Wales army you had to run back to your mainland, not keep pushing me.
05 Oct 16 UTC @Guak--- Still new--- So willing to listen. What do you recommend I do next time to avoid, and force stalemate?
05 Oct 16 UTC Any useful tips for Austria? I rather liked my defensive turn 1, then made the mistake of thinking Italy would go after Turkey after he had NMRed the first turn...but I guess the Tyrolia unit has nothing better to do than attack me anyway at that point.
05 Oct 16 UTC Autumn 1901 I had initially ordered Trieste to Venice and Vienna to Tyrolia too, but changed my mind...cot dang it.
05 Oct 16 UTC I agree, my attacking England was weird. I had a bunch going on at my office so I decided to be hyper-aggressive/stupid. I had moves stopping the attack entered and then England missed the turn... so I decided to go after them in case they were gone.
05 Oct 16 UTC @Red Lion: you lost autmn 01 when you left Vienna for Budapest of all places. Trying Galicia again, or self bouncing Tri while using your fleet elsewhere would had been good.
05 Oct 16 UTC @Cap: Turkey is really hard to invade. Even outnumbered like you were Zmaj would had needed to guess right to slowly advance. You needed to support hold randomly between Con and Smy until Zmaj guessed right, and only then make a run for tthe north. You had the right idea, you just bolted way too early, and you left us in the west scrambling to try to set up a stale mate, while Italy just steamrolled over you and kept the builds coming at us.
05 Oct 16 UTC Also, leaving Sev for Ukraine in 06 was completely unnecessary
05 Oct 16 UTC Thanks!
