26 Sep 16 UTC Good game all. Except for Austria... hahaha
26 Sep 16 UTC good game everyone
26 Sep 16 UTC well played, france
26 Sep 16 UTC Strange game, only one country got defeated! Lucky Germany, lucky me. Can't quite see how your strategy would ever have worked Italy; stabbing me early on only to let me walz right back into your territory... Congratulations France, you schooled just about all of us.
26 Sep 16 UTC I didn't let you into my territory as a strategy. I was trying to stop the solo and expected you and germany to help defend.

Obviously I messed up by not realizing the solo threat earlier but I feel like we might have been able to stop the solo more support was given up north
26 Sep 16 UTC @Italy, pretty sure I tried to defend for as long as possible. Needed help earlier
26 Sep 16 UTC Thank you Austria for saying that. In my opinion, the game changed completely once I was able to capture Tunis. That meant I had a center across the main stalemate line, and likely had a change of capture the northern half of the map for a solo unless either (1) a rare stalemate line got set up that denied me either munich or berlin OR (2) tunis was somehow recaptured from me.

Austria, I would say, it's precisely because only one country got defeated that I was able to solo - in a gunboat game, the more players around the better for someone going for a solo because it's just so damn difficult to coordinate and rally other players to create a stalemate line.
26 Sep 16 UTC @Italy, you're fullof shit man (pardon the very appropriate choice of words). You stabbed me and set yourself up for a weak position you were unable to hold. Only once France got into your back yard did you 'attempt to stop the solo'... Which you actually attempted by taking how many centers from him back?

Not hating, I am very happy with my survival, just trying to shed some light onto your clearly distorted cloud vision.
26 Sep 16 UTC Austria, thanks for the message. First of all, sorry for the stab. Saw the opportunity and decided to go for it. Though I figured one of us would stab the other eventually.

I think my biggest mistake was in the Fall of 1903. I moved to cover Greece instead of leaving my fleet in the Ionian to cover Tunis. As France said, after Tunis fell it was really hard to gain any ground back.

As for stopping the solo, I admit that I didn't actively try to stop the solo threat until France move south which was my bad. However, I sent my armies up north to try to set up a stalemate line and try to gain some ground back. I think the fall of 1906 would have been our best shot. If there was either a Germany or Austrian army in Prussia, Berlin could have been taken back or Tunis/Marseilles depending on how it was played. But again as France said it is very hard to coordinate in gunboat to create that stalemate line.

The reason why I called you out in the first place was for going for my center in the end instead of heading north. But it wouldn't have mattered as the writing was on the wall. Good game regardless.
26 Sep 16 UTC Cheers then
26 Sep 16 UTC @Italy: once Russia refused to support hold Berlin in 05, the Berlin position was lost. Even if there had been an army in 06, it was a losing position and with the way the map was looking, the solo was almost written in stone by then.
26 Sep 16 UTC Germany, yeah that lack of support really hurt. An army in 06 would have atleast have provided us a better chance I think.

Also, I supported A Ber-Mun in the Fall of 1903 thinking you would take Munich back than. Probably should have left an army in tyr to help instead of going after Austria.
26 Sep 16 UTC Yeah, I mean I saw the support and tried the next phase but you left.

And what I mean is that you shouldn't blame Austria and myself when it was clearly Russia and England who chose not to try to stop it. By 06 I had already given up hope after realizing England's and Russia's lack of interest in helping stop the solo, and being in Prussia would not had changed Russia's lack of support.
26 Sep 16 UTC Yeah that is true. Russia didn't seem to support any moves at all. Ah well. Good game regardless. Would be up for another if anyone else is.
26 Sep 16 UTC Perhaps if I had just rolled over Russia might have noticed what was happening on the rest of the board? As it was I really didn't get involved in this game :(
27 Sep 16 UTC i do think the germany has disband the game.perhaps i just did not like the way england and germany works towards me but not towards to France.
27 Sep 16 UTC as you see my sil did not surport the ber.here is my thought, i can affer the austria go as war-mos
