19 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Hi everybody! Good luck! Hoping for a fun first game.
19 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Hello everyone.
22 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 1903: I was once jealous of Harry Potter because he could talk to snakes, but I now see that I've been doing it this whole time
22 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 1903: Sorry England, you were a pleasure to work with for the short time we worked together. Who knows, we might end up working together again.
25 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 1904: Germany has declared neutrality.
25 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 1904: *Northern-Switzerland
26 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 1904: Sorry Austria, I know we almost have you dead, but we are just waiting on you to proceed. Better luck next game.
28 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 1906: well nice job Germany, this would have been the last turn of the game, hopefully, but you managed to stay alive.
28 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 1906: Well, now we see if this ends in a 3 way, or if someone turns. If we all act quickly, we can finish this game today.
28 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 1906: Just waiting on Germany now.
28 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 1906: You should have voted draw when I gave you a chance!
28 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 1906: Sorry, not completely sorry.
28 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: Well, this came could very well finish today if everyone is quick enough.
28 Aug 16 UTC GG all!
28 Aug 16 UTC GG, glad the 3way did work out :)
Funny how you happened to get the leading power, taking in account that I had you by your balls in the beginning :D
28 Aug 16 UTC you should have squeezed harder!
28 Aug 16 UTC I was tempted to go for a solo but didn't feel like it. Yeah it was funny, I didn't expect to end up at the top, we worked really well together. Sorry Austria but it wasn't meant to be
28 Aug 16 UTC Good game.
28 Aug 16 UTC Good game. Red Lion it's been really fun working with you. And sorry Piggles.
28 Aug 16 UTC Not what I had hoped for, but maybe not a bad start. I had expected an early exit when drawing Germany for my first game against humans. Now I know what to expect in the future.
28 Aug 16 UTC Same, Thomas. And I feel bad for Piggles, too.
28 Aug 16 UTC GG. At the very least this game reinforced my distrust of the French, and hopefully I can use that to my advantage in my next game.
28 Aug 16 UTC :P
28 Aug 16 UTC Any criticisms of my play are more than welcome. My list already has 1) Reading comprehension skills are actually important, 2) Bounce Russia from Sweden for at least 1 round (even if you intend to work with them later), 3) A healthy Austria makes for a healthy Germany.
28 Aug 16 UTC The third one is very very true, the Russia one depends on what you think you are able to do with Russia. If Russia is fighting turkey and gets involved down there, you are very well set up, however as soon as Russia works with Turkey against Austria, you need to back Austria up and quickly. Once Russia has the south figured out, the only other place to go in north, either moving into England, or into Germany. If Russia moves into England, they have you surrounded, especially if they are working with Turkey and Austria is knocked out.

Trust but verify is very important, and being flexible. I attacked Turkey turn 1, but was able to turn that around and go after Austria who wasn't being as forthcoming for me. We had everyone else fighting, so picking off Austria was fairly easy, and once we got France to agree to join us, the game was over.

You did pretty good, but shouldn't have crumbled so easily in the very end. You had a chance to work with France against us (not sure if that would have happened) or could have tried to convince Turkey to attack me. While I was moving in on you, I was moving very cautiously and you could have hurt me a bit. You were doomed only if you had no allies.

Sorry it didn't turn out so well, but keep in touch, im always willing to provide help to others.
28 Aug 16 UTC Yeah I crumbled because neither France nor Turkey seemed at all interested in attacking you. I was eating utter static. I had hopes Turkey would maybe turn North to prevent you from completing a solo but it did not happen.
28 Aug 16 UTC Thanks for the tips.
28 Aug 16 UTC I went for england because they re darn good at this game. I took over a civil disorder in one of his games and he was kicking butt. So if I left england alone the game would have turned out differently for sure.
29 Aug 16 UTC I'm not sure if I should be angered or honored. Either way, I request a rematch sometime in the near future.
29 Aug 16 UTC <-- doesn't get requested to rematch :(

29 Aug 16 UTC damn, this is probably a huge mistake for me, i'm playing waaay too many games at the same time, but ill do it.
29 Aug 16 UTC Sorry but I'll pass, want to get down my running games as well
