08 Sep 16 UTC GG guys. What finally made you accept the draw, England?
08 Sep 16 UTC Well. I could have made a few advances in Poland and Ukraine but would have met you quickly. France was well guarded. With everyone voting for a draw, everyone would turn thier attention to me.
08 Sep 16 UTC So fuck it. Take the money and run right?
08 Sep 16 UTC I was waiting for you England.....but I didn't expect Ukraine to RUN away from Turkey like that into me?...either way I didn't expect to last this long so thank you for drawing.
08 Sep 16 UTC well i guess that is the option you have in a game where you can build in any sc
09 Sep 16 UTC Figured I had a better chance of making it to a draw with more SCs by cutting and running from Turkey, than trying to stand my ground. I'd say it worked. Good game, everyone.
09 Sep 16 UTC I think your an idiot Ukraine and a coward!
09 Sep 16 UTC The Turkey Ukraine relationship was strange. You definitely rolled over for Turkey.. Ukraine
10 Sep 16 UTC The truce between Turkey & I was always weighted in his favour, as I fought a two-front war against Italy & Russia, while he focused exclusively on Africa and the Mediterranean. If it was going to break, I was probably going to lose. When the stab did come, Italy was vanquished without me having made any gains, thanks to France rolling through him so thoroughly, and most of my troops were already committed in the north, to conquer Russia. So, I was left with the choice of marching my forces south, to face a stronger opponent who already had a build-up on the doorstep, or pivot west and pick off SCs from a vulnerable Poland, while hoping for a draw before England & Turkey squashed me in a north-south sandwich. Considering I gained 3 SCs from Poland, while losing 4 to Turkey, I'd say I chose wisely.

It may be cowardly, and it may be rolling over for Turkey, but I'd argue it wasn't at all idiotic. That's just hurt feelings talking.

And you know what that is? That's Diplomacy.
