04 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2004: Leaving Volga open with fallow units adjacent? That's an argument for a draw right there
04 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2004: Lift your game and pay attention to detail otherwise punishing Germany won't happen until 2017...
04 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2004: Turkey, that's fine, especially if cze gets bumped somehow. I don't need to know either way on cze. You do you. But Spain is right about Volga. Gotta get kha or Don in there this turn. Let me know if you want Moscow to support you somewhere btw.
04 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2004: Spain - "lift your game play and pay attention to detail" .. I think my game play has been fine.. may be best if you remember your place in the pecking order of this alliance
04 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2004: Hahaha and maybe you should look at some of your turns and moves and take heed - you've made a shitload of Noobie errors, and frankly Egypt has been carrying both of us. Your lead in SCs is purely a matter of geography, not standard of play.

But you could Always just take offence and ignore me if you like.
04 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2004: I've held the Western stalemate line against a much larger force just fine - so im comfortable with where I am at and should you guys decide to go for me - Then so be it - this is Diplomacy. If you don't expect a stab every turn then you lose.

I made My commentary because of the arrogance of your insistence of refusing the draw as if you are on top of your game - examination of moves on several occasions does not match that - so take the advice or kill me and be a spilt brat - it's a game
04 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2004: I can take offense and ignore you if I like? Passive aggressive much - Everything you said and the way you said is offensive.. Out of the blue you cop a jab at me saying I need to button up my play and pay more attention. I think my play in this game has been just fine. Of course you're entitled to your own opinion of my play. My opinion of yours is that the only reason you're still alive is Egypt allows it. I think you also have a case of supply center envy going on, isn't it like the smaller player to always try to diminish the larger players position.. I'm not much for continuing this squabble, it's petty. You have your opinion and that's cool, Just worry about your front and I'll worry about mine -
04 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2004: Hahaha the passive aggressive calls others passive aggressive - love it.
Just look at what you can do with all Those holds to further your cause is all
I ask.
05 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2004: Spain... it's enough
05 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2004: let's just stick to the game, alright
05 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2004: Egypt - cam Moscow support Kiev into Bielo-Russia? Thanks
05 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2004: Hey Spain wanna let bygones be bygones and form an alliance? I think we can beat these guys. That or it might force a draw sooner. I obviously attacked you forever ago because I thought I might solo but that is not happening at this point. Thoughts?
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: Don't trust Germany :)
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: Notwithstanding any testiness between Tutkey and I, Egypt has proven time and time again that he can be trusted, so I will remain loyal to him and therefore the 3 way alliance.
Unlike Russia I have no reason to doubt your sincerity as you have never lied to me - just exploited your advantages.
As it turns out you did stab the Bear too early and now you are paying for it.
Thems the breaks.
Should the situation change or Turkey agitate to cut me out - you'll Be the first to know :)
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: Spain, do you want GoL to support auv or mars? Turkey, yes on Moscow
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: turkey, if slo just attacks cze, I think we can acheive both of our objectives (take austria, and hold kra [at least that's what I'm assuming your objective is]). Don't have to, and I may be misreading the play on your end, but just a thought.
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: Mars pls Egypt
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: Egypt - that's what I'm going for..
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: Turkey, Germany. 3 way draw?
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: agreed
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: Okay
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: sounds good...everybody clock draw right now
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: Sorry Spain he offered first
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: Germany, my specific proposal is this. I get all sc and regions on the Mediterranean side of Spain including Gibraltar in Morocco and you get the others. Once Spain is finished we draw
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: Well it's DSS anyways so I'm just focusing on getting him out. Turkey will you not attack me?
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: Germany - I'll hold my line
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: I'll hold my line against you as well, Germany. (though to protect against the solo, I will attack you if you take Mar, Bar, Gib, or Mor; just want to be clear)
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: Man I really wanted to see Germany go down:-)
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: I'm just such a hassle
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: There is no justice in the world
05 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: For a lousy 10 points each haha
06 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: To be honest this was always a possibility, but if I may pleas my case, I was in a horrible position with France and England throwing to Germany from the get go. With the shitty hand I was dealt I played the entire game thoroughly and probed for every opening and held the West against the odds.
I like to think I've earned my place in the Draw, and that the paltry gain of 10-13 points each when you still end up with a draw isn't a fantastic representation of the part I played in the match.
Obviously if you both combine to burn me - the game is over, but I hope I earned more respect than that.
It's in your hands.
06 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: Sorry Spain. You held that stalemate line crucially and for a long time. You almost certainly deserved better but the power imbalance was just too great. It was too easy to divide you up. No hard feelings I hope.
06 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: I'll draw out of an appreciation for your efforts, but if Turkey doesn't want to draw, I'm not going to attack him and I will help him if the German does attack.
06 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: Egypt - you have been an awesome ally from the start, we made a great team.
Germany - very well played game
06 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: I'm on Spain's side, I think we should cut him in on the draw. I like the cut of his jib
06 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2005: I dunno - to be honest still a little sour from our spat.
06 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2005: Egypt - Austria has my full support
06 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2005: Turkey I'm not attacking, we're on a team remember?
06 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2005: right. I'm just holding austria. I'm gonna take mar this time. Feel free to take auv this time, Germany.
06 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2005: Egypt - I won't backtrack from my earlier commentary - but it was generated by frustration that there was talk about punishing the German (and btw look at how large his holding is..) but you had just lost an SC and not covered a back door entrance while leaving units without orders. Even Egypt agreed with me!
My point was that to beat Germany we had to all bring our A game or it would take forever.
From there it degenerated a bit into name calling, partly because I put my point across poorly, but also partly because you reacted poorly to it. Fault on both sides.
Don't be petty please.
06 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2005: A pox on all your houses
06 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2005: “Till shade is gone, till water is gone,
into the Shadow with teeth bared,
screaming defiance with the last breath..."
06 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2005: Oh how I enjoy the erudite writings of Spain. Just paying back the earlier compliment
07 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2005: haha
07 Aug 16 UTC Spain - I went a round without orders and my game went "sloppy" the other weekend because it was my brothers wedding, my mind and attention was elsewhere. I took offense when you said my entire game play was weak and that I was a "noobie".. That's all, you just rubbed me the wrong way.. no harm no foul.. good game everyone.
07 Aug 16 UTC Good game guys!
07 Aug 16 UTC Good game guys - I appreciate the draw.
07 Aug 16 UTC Good game indeed
07 Aug 16 UTC it was fun while it lasted ;(
