24 May 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Any interest in doing a pause to give the 2 newbies a little time to read up on things?
24 May 16 UTC Spring, 1901: If they both want it, a 1-day pause would be fine with me.
24 May 16 UTC Spring, 1901: That would be nice. The first moves would be locked in in 44 hours then?
24 May 16 UTC Spring, 1901: works for me.
24 May 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Let's agree to unpause around lunch tomorrow. First moves will go through Thursday morning.
24 May 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Ok.
24 May 16 UTC Spring, 1901: sounds good to me, I voted pause
26 May 16 UTC Autumn, 1901: Good night all from the Austrians.
26 May 16 UTC Autumn, 1901: There is fine wine to drink and ze night is young! Zut alors... Zee's Austrians!
27 May 16 UTC Autumn, 1901: So the weekend is coming up. It is my understanding that after the moves at 10 am we all will pause.

We Austrians celebrate the American Memorial Day weekend to honor those Americans who died defending our lands.

It is also our understanding that we will unpause on Tuesday morning.

Us Austrians are OK with messages during the weekend, but may not respond as fast as you wish. We celebrate heavily on weekends and may not have time to look at maps and positions of our friends.

Have a nice weekend everyone.
27 May 16 UTC Spring, 1902: I emailed the moderators and asked them to force pause our game, as we discussed at the office earlier, since Italy hasn't been online.
27 May 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Moderator: (Valis2501): Paused by request. If you wish to discuss or object to this pause email webdipmod@gmail.com
31 May 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Uh, guys, we have to all vote to unpause every week too, then the clock starts running again.
31 May 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Sorry
03 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1903: Please vote to pause today before you leave work. I'll cast my vote tonight, after the turn flips, and we'll get back at it on Monday.
10 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1904: French authorities report an Italian vessel with faulty navigational equipment has inadvertently wandered into waters off the south coast of France. A French envoy that had been on its way to the savage, mysterious, unnamed island across the Irish Sea from Great Britain has been dispatched to guide the wayward Italian sailors home.
10 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1904: French president mkeCharlie released a short statement: "Our thoughts and prayers are with these lost men, and their worried families should know that we will do everything in our power to get them safely home.
10 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1904: "
10 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1904: Oh my gosh that is so sad and terrible. I say we should pause this weekend and do some life reflection.
10 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1904: Don't Forget to Pause
10 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1904: THIS JUST IN ----- The Austrian Imperial Army is reporting that French troops have entered the Austrian province of Tyrolia by climbing over the wooden fence separating Austria and Germany.

Authorities have been trying to contact German Officials to find out how a French army could just walk from Burgundy through Munich and then into Tyrolia without a word or a gun shot.

Supreme Commander and Dragon Lord Orynth is quoted as saying "We will use the Obama Doctrine on their asses to teach these French men a lesson. We will sit down and have beer with them and talk things out, so we can understand each other, hug it out, and leave the luncheon as Friends. The French will then have no choice, but to leave our country in peace."

In other news, has the rest of the world just gone insane?
10 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1904: French authorities report that a lost army unit had too much dark beer while on holiday, and went home the wrong way.
11 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1904: Supreme Commander and Dragon Lord Orynth after hearing that the French army was only lost after consuming adult beveragessaid "Dark Beer my ass, we will destroy them with a white table luncheon.
16 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1905: Whoa, Whoa, Whoa!!!! Let’s all stay calm and take a deep breath this weekend. Let's not make any rash moves now. Seems like a lot of attacks against Austria this year, when we have been very peaceful to everyone. Well except for that whole Turkey and Russia thing, but really, otherwise I have been very nice.

Come on Germany, I could have taken Warsaw and Moscow this year, but look they are safe and sound. Why help the poor little Russians. You should see the mess and pollution here in Sevastopol; I mean the Fleet that just sat here for years still stinks from here to Armenia. The Austrians who love flowers and the environment are only here to help clean up the mess.

And France, you come barreling into the beautiful countryside of the Austrian province of Tyrolia after a drunken stupor in Germany. Did we throw you out? No, we welcomed you with open arms, letting your army sleep for days to get over the Dark Beer hangover. And what does your army do when we allow them to recover? They decide to support another country to take over the beautiful sea port of Trieste. Disappointing, to say the least.

Then we come to Italy, it saddens me to even speak of this. We treated you as a fellow Austrian, supporting you in all your endeavors. We even shared our Turkey with you so we could both enjoy the spoils. And when times were tough for you this past year, did we make it pour when it was raining? Did we add gas to an already burning fire? No, we did not, we gave you hope. We didn’t move into Greece or let the ugly Russian Bear have Constantinople. No, we protected the lands you took over while your fleets moved back home to protect your homeland. And how do you repay me? You work with the French to attack Austria. Many of our citizens shed tears this night at what has become of our kinsman. Many children fall asleep tonight crying and remembering the Italians we once knew.

So please, please everyone, take a step back and reflect this weekend on how good the Austrian people have been to you. Well again, except for that whole Turkey and Russia thing.
24 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: I'm going up north for the weekend, and into the beginning of next week. I don't know how "off-the-grid" I'll be, but it's possible that I won't be able to unpause on Monday. Thanks in advance for the extended weekend pause, and sorry for the inconvenience.
24 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: I will set my vote to Pause after the phase ends tonight.
24 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: Someone poke Italy to pause, too.
24 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: I will give him a gut shot.
24 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: Gut shot delivered
27 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1907: I'll be traveling from Escanaba to Amberg later today. If I have a signal there, I'll vote to unpause, otherwise I'll have to wait until I'm back to civilization on Wednesday.
27 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1907: Go Verizon! We're good to go.
07 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: gg Russia.
