Autumn, 1905: Press release from the United Patriot Front: The former Reichfuhrer of Germany, having fallen from grace, has been dispatched by Special Forces of the United Patriot Front. His behavior has threatened the lives of millions, and his reign of tyranny is now at an end. Germany, which has now relocated to Sweden, seeks to normalize relations around the globe. This is a formal apology for the offensive and distasteful foreign policy practiced by our former leader. The New German-Swedish Republic knows that it is, in the parlance of the youth, fucked in the butt. So, we humbly beg our conquerors for mercy. We agree to immediately cease all antagonism, on the one condition that Russia and England vacate their troops from Berlin. This cessation of force should serve to save Russia from turkish forces. We plan to return the territory of Sweden as well. Germany hopes for a peaceful resolution to these conflicts. However, we feel obligated to point out the blatant betrayal of trust perpetrated by the Austrian Empire. Having been granted access to the German battle plans, plans that would have, mind you, halted the English assault and conquered territory, the treacherous Emperor of Austria shared those confidential documents with King Joseph I. Our attempts to defend our homeland were thwarted by the evil guile of this horrid conqueror. Germany has formally renounced the Triple Axis, and requests admittance to the FIRE alliance. In fact, should such admittance be granted, we would only request that the acronym be changed to GRIEF. This would symbolize the feelings of the Double Axis as they recognize the failures of their states. |

Autumn, 1905: “Society teaches us that having feelings and crying is bad and wrong. Well, that’s baloney, because grief isn’t wrong. There’s such a thing as good grief. Just ask Charlie Brown.” - Reverend Scott |

Autumn, 1905: Germany/Sweden, In this maelstrom of... angst being spewed upon these political message boards, I see that I am being "called out", as the 13 to 22-year-olds 100 years from now say. I regret my decision to betray you, even though it was retaliation for a previous injustice your people had committed against us. Had I known that my friendship with England would quickly deteriorate, I would have done things differently. Your efforts have been instrumental in helping us capture Russia, and for that our people will forever sing songs of your heroism. I understand that you wish to denounce Austria and Turkey, but please do not join FIRE. They are the ones who perpetrated the assault of Germany, and forced your people to migrate hundreds of miles to your new home. They may preach about human rights, yet their motions show clearly what their intentions are: to gang up on weaker nations and threaten them until they submit. Russia declared war on us. England crippled your nation for his own gain. Italy muscled Spain, Portugal, and Marseilles away from the French. The once-great French Empire is now but the pitiable mascot of their gang, and Italy and England will soon do away with him once their official enemies have capitulated. There is one thing that I cannot stand for in this world, and that is a betrayal of trust. As Turkey has demonstrated, trust can be rebuilt with time and real actions. I may be a hypocrite for betraying both you and Italy, but let me at least defend my actions. Your previous attack against us in the Spring of 1899 wounded the very soul of our nation, and those wounds have only recently healed. As for Italy, I realize now that the King is nothing but a scoundrel-- one who takes advantage of those who trusted him. I see now the true goal of this FIRE alliance-- to stall Turkey and Austria's advance while England gathers the forces necessary to crush us. I renounce any friendship with Russia, England, France, and Italy. As for the Swedish-German Empire, I offer you my friendship and hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me for my treachery. I am aware that this has been a long and tedious address, but I believe it necessary to speak our minds-- rather than be two faced and betray your friends when they least expect it. I expected better from all of you. Mournfully, Emperor Balwin Siegfried |

Autumn, 1905: "Plus france u know ur gettin raped soon i mean italy and Douchland way stronger." "The once-great French Empire is now but the pitiable mascot of their gang, and Italy and England will soon do away with him once their official enemies have capitulated." Austria and Germany, I have faith in my fellow members of FIRE that they will not betray me. Although I am not the strongest nation at the moment (and never have been), I have helped England and Italy with their supplies and supported them. "ur too busy helping ur oppressor to even take back ur land at Marseilles." Germany, I am honored to be able to help the stronger nations even if I have to sacrifice land. No members of FIRE are oppressing me. It seems I sided with the right side. Look at yourself. Your nation is wrecked. Mine, compared to yours, is much better. Behind my allies, your "fourth reich" is done. Sincerely, King Armand Fallières |

Autumn, 1905: France, The excerpted statements are only a few of the hideous and hateful proclamations spewed from the mouth of our former leader. With the fall of the Reichfuhrer comes a new resurgence of democracy, and renewed kindness towards France. Your deft politicking has indeed left you in a better state than the inept actions of our deceased ruler. Once again, we formerly apologize for any and all statements issued under his rule. With love and kindness, The United Patriot Front of the New German-Swedish Republic |
|
Autumn, 1905: I accept your apology for any hurtful statements against my country.
Spring, 1906: We graciously thank you for this acceptance, and further apologize for the past information that was given to your sister about your nature.
Spring, 1906: What information was given to my sister?
Spring, 1906: She was informed that you "suck." This seems to be an attempt by our former leader at some semblance of juvenile humor.
Autumn, 1906: Ah. She had not informed me. Thanks for telling me.
Autumn, 1906: Goodbye world. It is a cruel existence on this petty planet. Now, I ascend to eternity. enjoy your fruitless wars.

Autumn, 1906: All Chaos on the Middle Front
Autumn, 1906: Im Zentrum alles neues
Autumn, 1907: I will make this message brief in order to honor the fallen enemy I speak of today. It would be dishonest to say that the German people were ones to make friends. Relations have always been tense, and at times even wretched. I believe it fair to say that even the people of Germany were not content, and at times, Germany exemplified all that was evil. But the German nation had, in it's final days shone a light. It is a pity that this light must have been put out so soon. It showed the potential for change. But as of Spring this year, Germany has fallen. My allies and I understand that these times can be confusing or even frightening to the German people. I can say however, with confidence that the English rule is a fair one. The German people need not worry of a leader such as the one they had. That is all. -Russia |
|
Autumn, 1907: How nice. I'm glad that you took the time to write such a thoughtful message. I'm also glad that, like Germany, southern Russia has been able to experience such a positive change in leadership. Maybe someday even the most northern reaches of Europe will know a decent government. Yours, Turkey |
|
Autumn, 1907: The fires that rage in Prussia can't compare.
Spring, 1908: I do not know what culture has been festering in that country of yours, but in Russia we speak our minds, rather than hide behind silly walls of passive aggression. You remark on the state of Russia but did my allies not come to my aid? Stay true to their word? I wonder if you can say the same. I know Germany would disagree. And yet you call your war mongering dishonest rule "positive". It is a shame we will have to end your rule before you end each other. -Russia |
|
Spring, 1908: guess who's back from the grave motherfuckers
Spring, 1908: ya boy the REICHFUHRER
Spring, 1908: this pansy-ass United Patriot Front can't handle the heat
Spring, 1908: Shameful of the Austrian government to house the German government-in-exile, such that they may continue to pollute the court with their demeaning language...
Spring, 1908: We felt that we owed him a debt, so he was allowed to continue spreading his propaganda within the safety of our boarders.
Spring, 1908: *borders. His casual diction is contagious...
Spring, 1908: He's a boarder within our borders.
Spring, 1913: Fellow leaders. I am proud to announce that France has been restored to its former glory. |
|
Autumn, 1913: For the other members of the United Nations, This turn I plan on moving troops from Serbia into Trieste, Tyrolia into Bohemia, and Piedmont into Tyrolia. Hopefully this will not conflict with any of your goals. Thank you. Emperor Balwin Siegfried |

Despite constant requests, England has not let up its assault. I fear this is the end for the French empire.

World leaders, I'm sure you all feel that this war has become tiring, as do I. At this point, I don't even really care about losing Austria or not defeating fire, for this world has already lost the most important thing-- my interest. I think it's time we simply end it. I'm voting to call this a draw and return the state of peace to the world. Anyone who wants to do the same is welcome to. -Emperor Balwin Siegfried |
