18 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Welcome to the real world, she said to me condescendingly. Take a seat. Take your life. Plot it out in black and white.
24 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1902: So how about this juggernaut?
25 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1903: Looking at it, had we planned this, it would have been genius.
25 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1903: Does no one care about the juggernaut?
25 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1903: Or have has everyone else just agreed that you want Russia to win?
27 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1903: So now that Russia has stabbed turkey and I cant fight him anymore, does anyone else want to try and win the game?
29 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1904: Stand strong, Austria. You got this.
29 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1904: You are a mouse.
02 May 16 UTC Spring, 1905: Stand strong, Austria. You got this.
02 May 16 UTC Spring, 1905: This game is boring and dumb and I respect the three of you less (as diplomacy players) because of it.
02 May 16 UTC Spring, 1905: I respect you less because you're losing. Winning is all that matters.
02 May 16 UTC Spring, 1905: I disagree with Germany in order to refute Austria. Winning is not the only thing that matters. It is the best outcome of the game for an individual player sure, but if it was the only thing that mattered, we would not play on a point system.

If winning was the only thing that mattered, there would be no reason for a player who clearly had no shot at winning outright to continue play- ie: myself or England. The only reason that player would continue would be to stop another player from winning which would be an irrational act as there would be no benefit to the defeated. So his end game both ways is lose or lose later. (Hey aren't we all about acting rational and in your own self interest?)

If it was truly all or nothing, we would be ranked/ judged by our win loss record. Diplomacy is closer to NASCAR more so than it is to baseball or any other sport using W/L
02 May 16 UTC Spring, 1905: LOGIC'D!
02 May 16 UTC Spring, 1905: You know that I've always hated playing for the points.
02 May 16 UTC Spring, 1905: I'm only in it for the points.
04 May 16 UTC Autumn, 1905: It is with great joy that I observe that neither of you have changed in this regard.
06 May 16 UTC Spring, 1906: Everyone vote draw so that we can get this over with.
06 May 16 UTC Spring, 1906: You are a mouse.
06 May 16 UTC Spring, 1906: That's fair.
06 May 16 UTC Spring, 1906: England, get your draw move in!
