26 May 16 UTC sorry for the nmr guys, i think we were doomed anyway, but still.
26 May 16 UTC Didn't matter. There were no stalemates in this series, I'm bitter bc I didn't get any solo fun!
26 May 16 UTC Congrats Seth! I kick myself for not building and making a move on Italy sooner. I left myself too open.
27 May 16 UTC Glad I finally got one! Sorry Hamilton but disbanding your units when you couldn't build them back was the most enjoyable thing from this solo.
27 May 16 UTC Well played Seth. I have no clue what England was doing. He is a much better player than me, but it seems he threw away a chance at a draw by continuing to attack me at the end. The Russian NMR was unfortunate too, but probably not the deciding factor.
27 May 16 UTC Bob if his series proved anything it's that I suck at gunboat. I gave you back Denmark in 1908 on purpose and signaled I wanted to go towards Italy/Portugal bc you didn't seem to have the armies to defend your home centers, I thought we would declare peace at that point but you followed it up with a fleet build and taking Sweden so I had to turn back towards you, at that point England couldn't stalemate so I was just trying to survive.
27 May 16 UTC "but disbanding your units when you couldn't build them back was the most enjoyable thing from this solo." That's the shittiest thing I've read today!!! :)
27 May 16 UTC Spring 1907/1908...I better learn from that. At what point did you decide, "Here's the chance and I better go for it!" Frustrating, especially when I thought "There a large pot for just a couple of us to draw from." Wah!
27 May 16 UTC In spring 07 I was surprised when you built in Vienna, I assumed that you would have built in Budapest if you wanted to continue to make sure that I wouldn't think you were hostile towards me. When I saw the Vienna army I assumed that you were going to try to take a shot at Venice and maybe try to sneak into the Ionian. So I moved to the Adriatic to postpone any taking if Venice, as it turned out. It gave me a great chance to take triest and further expand. And since I figured that most of my future expansion would have to go through you anyways it made sense to go ahead and make that move.
27 May 16 UTC Pretty disappointing series for me all Round to be honest. I seem to have a knack of attracting the gang bangs
27 May 16 UTC 1907 I was thinking, "Time to make sure Germany doesn't try any more funny stuff." Bad grand strategy on my part.
27 May 16 UTC That was the rationale for the Vie build.
