16 May 16 UTC Woof, one of you gave up a solo. But I don't know which one, I would guess France.
16 May 16 UTC Good game all. I don't think I had the solo. I couldn't really make any significant gain against Austria, especially when I saw England hovering around 12. I thought they would make more gains on Austria if I continued the conflict. I wasn't necessarily going to make a move against England, other than to suggest, "Let's form that line.
16 May 16 UTC Yes your solo would not come thru Austria but thru England. He didn't build enough fleets to defend the north.
16 May 16 UTC GG all.
16 May 16 UTC GG all

I was last to put up my draw vote, I had for a couple of years considered sending fleet into Eng and making a move, frankly I probably could have pushed it through to a solo but I also didn't really want to stab France as we'd had such a good relationship. I was sort of pushing for a three way (getting rid of Turkey) but it obviously wasn't going to happen.

Well played guys
16 May 16 UTC I kept waiting to see if you'd build a fleet or not. Every time I saw an army built I thought, "I have some more time." But last year was a critical one. I had to start early enough that I could let Austria know that I was ceasing hostilities while setting myself up to hold you up. I felt you had a great shot at Kiel at one point and I knew an Austrian hit on Munich would have begun the crumble of that front.

We really had some good momentum together and I didn't want to see it end but I also knew that as soon as a solo was apparent, anyone worth their salt should have taken it.
