20 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Hey guys, sorry for lack of press until now! Work ran late. Best of luck all.
22 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 1901: I'm going to be on holiday the next days. From wednesday to sunday and I'll have problems to play,

Please, may you push the button of Pause?
I'll push tomorrow at noon so we can play until that moment.

22 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 1901: Done
23 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 1901: you told valis you're pausing?
23 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Early stages, but possible juggernaut happening
23 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Yes, I sent the massage this morning. Everyone has pushed the Pause, thanks!
This noon I'll push the button and I'll cancel the Pause the next Sunday.
23 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: turkey just messaged me confirming a juggernaut, so there it is. please attack Russia and turkey
23 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: 100% Guilty.

After 1 turn of this game, I totally committed to a mindless single strategy regardless of any changes on the board and admitted this strategy to a player I have no interaction with. Clearly my short and snide comment of "Better second best than last." had nothing to do with Germany's utterly disrespectful tone... a tone indicating I'm a complete newb that's never played this game before. Obviously my reply to his unwarranted (and first communication) message of "Have you seen every juggernaut ever... you always lose" should have been... "Oh Gee, Thanks for looking out for me and my best interest. I appreciate you taking a single move and projecting my long term strategy. I had no idea that this move was bad. I'll just directly fight Russia! Would that make you happy?"

I regret not going with that approach. I've learned my lesson though. Now I'll simply do whatever moves you guys want. Message me!
23 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: okay
23 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: nah its ok Russias built a army in sev, hes going for the cheeky juggerstab
23 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: can I ask what the point of getting angry is?
24 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Who's angry?
24 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: well it would seem you were
24 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: I'm not sure why you think this level of discourse is appropriate for the Global chat. This is a diplomacy game, not a social forum. I admit, my tone is a little dickish... it's just that... I don't really care enough to phrase it a more positive way. But back to the game now.

The Turkish government formally denounces the German Chancellor and his very crudely articulated, anti-Turkish smear campaign. The Turkish government has no enemies, it's only concern at the moment is on reuniting with it's ethnic grandfather, the Greek States.
27 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: (Off-topic xD): Unpause pushed. Thanks to all!
28 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Russia, Austria and France are pending to push Unpause.
28 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Oops, sorry. Thought I had already hit that.
29 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Oops, sorry. Thought I had already hit that.
07 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1903: could we pause for a day or two? I know I can't do much now but I still don't want to lose RR, thanks
07 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1903: Ok. Done.
08 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1903: thanks
10 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1903: Can we all unpause now please while we wait on Germany's return?
10 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1903: Actually he is clearly back - so let's go please.
24 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: Apologies to all. I work at a hospital, and had a few very intense nights and could not get on to submit moves in time. Sorry for the confusion! I'll try to jump back into things.
28 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1908: Moderator: (Valis2501): Paused at request of a player, will unpause Monday
02 May 16 UTC Spring, 1908: Moderator: (Valis2501): Hi everyone. I hope you're having a lovely time. My deepest apologies but there was a mistake at game creation; everyone signed up for Hidden Draw Votes and it was not enabled. I've fixed it. Thanks for your patience.
04 May 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: I can't do anything without the support of Austria.
France, please, take my two SC the next phase. I'm going to hold all my units.
GG France and England.
08 May 16 UTC Autumn, 1909: Well shit
09 May 16 UTC Spring, 1910: Good game all. I would say something along the lines of "Let's all band together to stop England" but with mine and France's NMRs and where he chose to disband units, this one is over.
09 May 16 UTC Spring, 1910: Not the way i would've chosen to win I must say - but your worst win is better than your best loss ;D
13 May 16 UTC Spring, 1911: man this game was just ruined by missing turns. Eh, what can you do.
14 May 16 UTC Spring, 1911: Your intentional slowing of this match for no reason does you absolutely no credit Josh - just saying.
If youre pissed about something - just remember you are as much to blame as americaslacker.
14 May 16 UTC Friend Wusti, you do me wrong. I work an intense job and have NMRed 4 phases in this game by not being able to log in in a timely manner. I did slow it down because I needed time to think and talk. There is no ill intention, and there should be no blame for me taking the game-allotted time when available.

I am very much to blame, I would say perhaps most to blame, for the way this turned out. But I have done all I can to try to mitigate that effect. I asked Valis for a substitute multiple times, paused it when I knew I would have a particularly difficult weekend, and am doing what I can to submit moves even if I have no hope of winning.
14 May 16 UTC Hi
16 May 16 UTC Congrats Wusti
16 May 16 UTC A hollow victory in many ways - winning a web dip game should be like that fight scene in Saving Private Ryan where they wrestle with a knife and the German gets on top and slowly but surely eases it the other guys chest - staring into his eyes the whole time as it goes in.
Not a shambles of a game
