11 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1901: I apologize for this, but I will be at a weekend long conference with only mobile access. I will still send/receive press, but it will be a bit more brief than is my custom. Again, my apologies. I will be back to my verbose self on Monday.
13 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 1901: Sorry for the NMR scare folks (posting here cause I got some msgs). I was really hungover this morning but still made it on time!
16 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 1901: I apologize for my absence, but now I've returned.
17 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 1901: Sorry to all about my silence, things have been reall chaotic! I promise I'll resume writing long messages in the weekend.
22 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Shit sorry guys I didn't even notice we'd been on a build phase, I just thought it was really quiet!
22 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: We forgive you! That is, I do, at least. I was impressed, though. How come did you have a save button?
22 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Did you not have a save button Germany?
22 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Builds and retreats do only have a ready button in this press mode. But once that you hit ready, you can klick 'not ready'.
22 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: I seem to remember having a save button. Maybe my memory is faulty!
22 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: I'm not sure... maybe I double tapped?
25 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: I'm on vacation for a few days and will have limited WiFi access until Monday evening.
25 Mar 16 UTC Spring, 1902: I don't recall having one!
28 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 1902: Oh well. My fault for attempting something different.
03 May 16 UTC Spring, 1904: To all: I'm sorry I haven't yet written a single message this season. Things are very chaotic arouns here and I'd definitely have asked for a pause, if phases were shorter.

As they're not, I'll hopefully manage to devote this game some thought tomorrow!
06 May 16 UTC Autumn, 1904: I'll be travelling for business for one week beginning tomorrow. I don't anticipate any impact on my availability since I here they have the internet in London.
06 May 16 UTC Autumn, 1904: *hear that's embarrassing
23 May 16 UTC Autumn, 1905: Again, sorry all about my silence, these past days have been crazy.
06 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: Did we lose Italy?
08 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: If Italy is not here, perhaps we should message the mods or pause?
08 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: I'll put in a pause vote right now.
08 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: I am very sorry guys. I should have asked for a pause if I had known how crazy things would be this past week. My fault. I am writing individual press now!
25 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1907: This weekend is going to be brutal, and moves are due in 14 hours from now. I've got a ton of press to answer, and I don't have time to. Would you guys be willing to pause?
25 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1907: Pause vote is in
25 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1907: Mine as well.
25 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1907: I'm perfectly ok with a pause!
25 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1907: I am fine with a pause.
27 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1908: Holy cow, we are back. Is everyone with us?
27 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1908: The gang's all here
27 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1908: Look, this game was paused forever and I'm pretty much done with it. I'm happy to call a draw, or even a cancel, at this point. Thoughts?
27 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1908: I am fine with a draw or whatever.
27 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1908: I'm ok with whatever you choose to do, including playing. But yes, this pause was somewhat boring.
27 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1908: Look, I'm not big on calling people out. But Italy's player either held up the un-pause for a month, or a mod un-paused the game. Italy also had 2 NMR's, one which immediately preceded the pause, and I'm not certain his disband was automated or not.

What's worse, is now I have a vacation next week where reliable internet is going to be sketchy. I'm sure as hell not going to ask for ANOTHER pause just after this game got going.

So yeah, I'd like to end the game. A pity, as I've played with some super quality people in this game, and would love to again in a heartbeat.
28 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1908: I can report that a mod unpaused the game.
28 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1908: Let's draw this thing, then, and if Italy misses turns and gets dropped, fine.
28 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1908: And worse yet, since it's taken so long, I leave for vacation starting on Saturday morning. It would be super stupid to ask for a pause again. So either I need an account sitter, or a draw. Sadly, with Italy being AWOL, I don't think I'll be able to get much done until he NMR's out.

*sigh*
29 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1908: So, can't we ask a mod to remove Italy so that we (or you, as I don't feel the merit of entering orders is enough to make me deserve surviving) can draw without it? I mean, it can't be too hard to convince a mod to do so considering Italy seems to be gone for more than a month.
29 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1908: I have emailed the mods about Italy (yesterday actually) and will see what they say.
29 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1908: To state here, Russia, are you okay with a Draw? Or Cancel?
29 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1908: Honestly, the ideal solution would be for Italy to be kicked, and then a draw taken (or a replacement Italy and a brief pause until 8/7 when I get back from vacation). Another pause is NOT what this game needs, and my vacation is likely to put me out of internet capacity... *sigh*
30 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1908: I am okay to draw without Italy. I am also happy to replace Italy after a brief pause and play on.
31 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1908: Dragging this game out more seems unpleasant. A draw is fine with me, if anyone contacts the mods. If we all have draw votes, Italy getting removed would end the game, I think.
06 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: (Sorry Germany).

Let's ready up the next two turns and then I'll vote draw.
06 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: Well turn.
08 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: Don't worry, I'm perfectly aware that, so far, I have not earned a place in the draw. It is a pity that Italy abandoned the game, as things would have been far more interesting. Anyway, lesson learned: play shorter phases.
08 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: I have returned from my vacation/technology exile. I can ready the next phase here.
09 Aug 16 UTC GG to those of us who didn't resign. Wish we could have played through.
09 Aug 16 UTC And hope Italy's absence is not an indicator of anything more than just being busy or having lousy internet.
09 Aug 16 UTC Good game folks. I am surprised we managed to have a five-day phase that wasn't terrible. We lost Italy but I expected to lose more.
09 Aug 16 UTC Agreed, a very good game. I would play with you guys again anytime!
09 Aug 16 UTC I just put in a forum thread for a new game. If people want!
