03 May 16 UTC	[Brazil]:Many thanks for the game to you all. It was great fun & very enjoyable to play in. My personal thanks & congratulations to Ghana for his amazing understanding of the big picture from such an early stage in this game & also having the self restraint to refrain from throwing it all into the melting pot again. Also my thanks to Pacific-Russia for keeping me on my toes throughout this game, it was much appreciated. Finally my thanks to all the players playing & being involved in this wonderful hobby.

03 May 16 UTC	[Near-East]:Thank you for the game, everyone. Congrats to our winners. Thought I might hang on, as a vassal state of Ghana, keeping Pac-Rus from the solo, but once Brazil rose to be of equal standing, I became expendable. Well played, everyone.
03 May 16 UTC	[Ghana]:Good game, all--especially P-R and Brazil, of course. And thanks for the recognition, Brazil. I do have to mention Near-East, though. I debated for a while whether I should knock you out. I still don't know if that was the right Diplomacy thing to do. Anybody think it was harsh to wipe out the ally who was an important buffer against P-R's advances toward the end? Or is it the right call to take what you can get when it's a much smaller ally who can be taken out without repercussion? Lastly, wtf Quebec? You were in a dogfight in North America, and you send a fleet to harass me in Morocco and Algeria? You had no long-term interest in North Africa. All you did was spread yourself out, get a couple artificial builds, and bother me.
03 May 16 UTC	[Near-East]:The fact that I was so small, compared to everyone else, tipped the scales in favour of elimination. If I'd been able to retain anything in Europe or Afghanistan, then sticking it out as an ally would probably be more palatable. By the time you made your move, I wasn't pulling my weight any more.

03 May 16 UTC	[Pacific-Russia]:Sorry Near-East, I kind of forced Ghana's hand. I knew it wasn't going anywhere in the middle east, so I moved all my units into deadlock positions, Ghana's only play to move the game forward was to eliminate you, otherwise we would just sit there forever.
03 May 16 UTC	[Pacific-Russia]:same thing could be said in north america. I could've helped quebec and western canada hold out a stalemate, but ultimately, a 3-way is better than 4 or 5 or 5 way
03 May 16 UTC	[Pacific-Russia]:i think i played too conservative tbh. and missing a turn early in the game definitely hurt my progression. i took WAY too long to deal with india. i was trying to cover every corner to prevent any chance of india being able to sneak an army by and cause chaos in the back. with too much emphasis on the land, i didnt have many fleets in the beginning. and I had to split them north and south. it was too much to handle. I do think that I handled north pretty well, with the right amount of fleet builds and positioning. i wish i had a few more fleets in the south, then i couldve easily taken out australia before brazil scooped in. But you know...the pacific regions are terrible and not easy to push through...as you can see between me and brazil...
03 May 16 UTC	[Ghana]:I don't know, P-R, I think you played it as well as you could. India had 8 centers when you turned your forces to him, so you couldn't expect to mow through him easily or take him down while sending a good chunk of your units for expansion elsewhere. And if I can give credit to the rest of us, I think we did a good job of indirectly making your conquests more difficult. Brazil gave me praise earlier, but he and a lot of the other players also made sure not to jump in and attack anybody who you were going for. India stopped attacking China as soon as he saw you were coming that way. Europe had only 4 centers in 2004 when you started attacking him, but everybody else laid off even though there was blood in the water, and he held out all the way to 2011. India got to fend you off with almost no pressure from anywhere else. It's possible you could've gone elsewhere instead of slogging through Asia and Europe, but my bet is that Brazil would've backed off the North American players or Frozen as soon as you made your move, putting you in the same position of fighting people with no other enemies.
