15 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1905: Never done a live game with chat, pretty wild.
15 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1905: It's certainly getting good.
15 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 1905: This is why they sell adult diapers.
15 Feb 16 UTC Good game everyone
15 Feb 16 UTC Great game guys... I struggled but ended on top. I would have liked to continue, but would have needed kvn to stick with me. Great loyalty and deals. Stab you later.
15 Feb 16 UTC Great game everyone it was a pleasure!!
15 Feb 16 UTC it was a four-way tie, brother! And if this had kept going ... you'd probably have seen a Germany solo. :) I was going to eat KVN for dessert!
15 Feb 16 UTC Yeah I saw the end in sight lol
15 Feb 16 UTC Oh don't be so sure good sir! :-) I had more frustrations for you to come
15 Feb 16 UTC So, my apologies to England. Ivan is trying very hard to learn this game, and getting sandwhiched like he did was no good!
15 Feb 16 UTC I would have given you dots to hold off the Italian! because I know that I'd have been able to get them back!
15 Feb 16 UTC the 4 way draw, classic.
15 Feb 16 UTC Fair enough you do have good centering position! It was a pleasure playing with everyone! And sorry about that England!!
15 Feb 16 UTC If France had continued with me in the middle of the game though Germany woulda been toast imo
15 Feb 16 UTC If it hadn't been Ivan in England, I would have never attacked the Russian like I did. I was trying to help Ivan stay alive for as long as I could and to make the game interesting for him. But Ivan, I'm going to post some links to some videos in a PM that should teach you some of the basics of Diplomacy tactics.
15 Feb 16 UTC Fun night though!
15 Feb 16 UTC And stand by for my EOG ...
15 Feb 16 UTC You both were just such good diplomats and I was quite easily swayed I'll admit. :-/
15 Feb 16 UTC WOW ... what a game. I thought I was straight up toast! But, I made the offer to France to allow him to pass through me to get position on Italy. And he took me up on it. But then decided to double back instead of pressing home his advantage. Hazcam was in Venice! And could have been in Tyrolia with Italy way out of position. But he ended the game with Italy in the MAO ... when you are offered help like that across the stalemate line and you decide to take it, take it all the way my friend! You could have swallowed me up later, since you had the seas and were on both sides of me ...

Anyway, enough about the blown solo for Hazcam. About the game. Ivan appealed to my soft, carebear heart - so I didn't pile on him and instead turned on Russia ...who then talked France into (wisely) attacking me. I was able to work with England long enough to get him into position to totally screw France's game, but there's only so much we could do when he failed to get a build in '01 or cover LVP in '02.

KVN, you played a helluva game. You won the south with tactics (and some bad moves by Austria) and you got great position in the north through Diplomacy. You can't win on two fronts with tactics, and the name of the game isn't Tactics... so nicely done. I can't wait to play with you again. You got a little luck when I forgot to to order any kind of an attack on Sweden in '03. You would have had a disband coming ... but misorders are part of the game.

BGunz, when Austria sets himself up for disaster, you don't bounce him in Greece in '01. You take Rumania or force Russia to support it from Galicia.

Sampwn, when you're Austria, never go to Adriatic in Spring '01. EOG complete.
