Of course, I understand. Good luck with the weekend work. If you have more time or would like to talk later in the game, feel free to reach out. Until then, best of luck in-game!
30 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1901: France: England says, don't be such a dick and you should unmute him.
30 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1901: Disengaging, thanks.
03 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Despite the message you guys may be getting from the EF strife, press is good, and very important, i.e. it's good to send a lot of press to people.
03 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Most certainly!
03 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Pro tip: put in orders if you're not sure you'll be back in before the deadline.

16 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 1904: gg russia!

21 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1905: GG!
21 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1905: Apologies for the NMR - I was halfway the order when I was urgently interrupted. When I logged in again it was minutes past deadline. :-/
26 Feb 16 UTC Hi all,

I doubt I'll ever use this site again, since I don't think diplomacy is really the game for me. My lack of interest is resulting in me giving bad press and frankly making this a less enjoyable experience for me and the other players. If a replacement could be found that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, and what you're trying to do here with these beginner games is great- but diplomacy just isn't my game. Sorry.
26 Feb 16 UTC Sorry to hear that Austria, but appreciate you letting folks know now rather than just disappearing. Best of luck with other things!

For everyone else, can we get a pause to get this worked out?
26 Feb 16 UTC My pause vote is in, and I've added my draw vote too. I think this is a fun game to continue, but a replacement will be a hassle and I wouldn't want to force anyone to have to agree to that. Draw or replace is both fine with me.
26 Feb 16 UTC @Austria: you should pause too.
26 Feb 16 UTC @Austria: I've played with many many new players, and agree this game is not for everybody. I really respect the fact that you recognise it and allow us to find a replacement. Most players are not like that.
It's been a pleasure playing with you!
26 Feb 16 UTC I would just like to echo Germany's sentiments
26 Feb 16 UTC Yeah Valis, you'll have to unmute me to read that :-P
26 Feb 16 UTC If anyone knows a suitable replacement let me know. Will have the mod swap them out if Austria and the replacement agree. This is supposed to be an introduction game but I do not want introduce new members to indefinite pauses and black holes of unsecured stops
26 Feb 16 UTC you're not going to vote pause, whilst we work this out? it would be better than nmrs/ruined phases?
26 Feb 16 UTC I prefer to Draw, because pausing to be defeated in two turns it's not the best way to be waiting. But I don't want to change the way this game is going so both votes are in.
26 Feb 16 UTC Nothing is being ruined and no one should be nmring this phase. Find a replacement and if we don't today well pause
26 Feb 16 UTC It's not just about whether there is an NMR. If we decide to they to give a replacement, he should be given as much opportunity to decide his own destiny diplomatically as possible. This spring is actually a pretty important turn for that based on their position.

I also would like to echo that I have very much enjoyed playing this game with y'all, but don't mind calling it now if folks think it will be more trouble than it is worth.

......aaaaaand France won't see this one either.
26 Feb 16 UTC I see all global messages.
26 Feb 16 UTC Oh, well that makes it easier. Good to know. Haha you taught me something about that feature after all!

As I am the last holdout draw vote, I will happily put that in later if no progress has been made on the replacement front.
26 Feb 16 UTC I've asked some people will see what they say
26 Feb 16 UTC Im also happy to cancel, as my vote suggests. Really whatever. Playing on with someone new, drawing, canceling, whatever.
26 Feb 16 UTC I'm happy with any game outcome. But I'm unhappy with a lack of pause. Can we pause and offer any Austria some time please?
26 Feb 16 UTC I don't have time to argue this. Fine.
27 Feb 16 UTC My unpause is in. Who do you have in mind to join us Valis?
28 Feb 16 UTC Any update, Valis?
28 Feb 16 UTC None can will
29 Feb 16 UTC Based on my interpretation of the above comments, it seems like it's time to go ahead and call this one done.

To all, thanks for playing! I had a great time. Specifically,

Germany and Turkey: you guys were both awesome. I learned a lot talking with each of you. I really appreciate the time you put in to make this both worthwhile and enjoyable, and would love to play with you again if ever the opportunity arises.
Russia, Italy: Sorry we didn't have more productive cooperation or interaction. Just wasn't meant to be this game. I did enjoy our banter, though I'm sure Italy was sick of it. Best of luck in the future games!
France: Thanks for putting together the game. I think the idea is great, and I certainly benefited from the experience. I'm sure other newer players do as well. Honestly though, other than that, I don't understand your conduct. Had you been the only experienced player here, it would have been a very poor ambassador for the webDip community. Best of luck.
29 Feb 16 UTC Good game all - thanks for an enjoyable time. As a talkative player, I really had a lot of fun with the other talkative players who did not mute people. It was a good table for that.

See you all elsewhere!
