27 Jan 16 UTC	Spring, 1909: well, thanks for the game guys! it was interesting enough. ideally, when i moved on Italy, England would have taken the chance on France too - but it was not to be! It seems it can be a decent end-game now however, though I'd probably place my bet on France at this stage!

27 Jan 16 UTC	If Italy would have made any of its two 50/50 chances against Turkey, T would have been dead, and Italy would have built to stop France up a bit. But it was not to be... For me, I could not defend on two fronts - and with Turkey still alive in my back, there was not much hope for me. I took away defences vs England, to try concentrate defences vs France, but it did not tempt either of E/F to stab...

27 Jan 16 UTC	@Russia: With four armies, one fleet, and Italy in Munich and Bulgaria, it was the logic thing for me to do. There was no other way I could use my units, other than holding... Turkey would go down either way - though it did not since Turkey made the right 50/50 selection 3 or 4 times in a row..

27 Jan 16 UTC	@Russia Yes, but look at the map from that season. There was no other things to do for me at that stage. It was not a problem to fight you either. Your units did not really cause any harm, until the stage where it was too late anyway. And the idea was that you would be held off , while Turkey was finished off :)
27 Jan 16 UTC	turkey. but you were lucky england stabbed himself and stopped me from attacking you. in spring 04 you had no defenses against 4 of my units. if you would have gotten me involved in turkey before you stabbed me you would have been much better off i think.

27 Jan 16 UTC	ha ha. my first game was england. somehow i almost won.. ended in a three way draw.. not sure how i did it because i had a weak grasp of the rules not to mention an established strategy. i was like a dog behind the wheel. trying to fake competence
