15 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: Good. Glad you can see I was in good spirits.
Press the bloody button. The Italian voted for euthanasia a while ago.
15 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: i don't have access to turkey's button.
15 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: You mean you don't live together? I am sorry, I just assumed...
15 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1907: Well you guys stuck together long enough to knock Italy and Russia out and Aus and I are on the verge of bye bye. Congrats. I don't think most EFG alliances make it to 1907/
15 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1907: Agreed. Not an easy one to pull off for sure.
15 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1907: So this is a series? You mean we have played together before? ;)
16 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1907: Okay so I guess the Alliance continues. Is this going to be a three way draw?
16 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1907: I think we picked better players than that. Guess we'll see. PS Thanks Austria!
16 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1907: hey, if you want my mercenary services, i accept cash or bank transfer.
16 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1907: Well in this game you must be making a tidy profit!
16 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1908: Sorry boys, I'm sure next game will be more fun. I feel like the high wager has prevented people from stabbing. Should the next game be a lower value to encourage treachery? Or can we all agree to "get over" the cost to play, and just play to friggin' win, not start with a draw as our goal?
16 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1908: But I only decided to not stab you because you asked me not to, so what are you talking about? Lol
17 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1908: Last high wager game I'll be playing. This was one of the worst, most stagnant, boring games I've played.
17 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1908: well if you all want to draw we can, geez. i'm down for a draw.
17 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: Seriously, this game was bad. I thought it would be great given the caliber of players but clearly the 'seriousness' of the game ruined the game.
17 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: I retract statement if someone stabs and wins.
17 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: still time to draw everyone. got a fleet left.
17 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: Is the Turk still alive?
18 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1909: later, schmo's.
18 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1909: Unlucky Austria.
19 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1909: stab stab stab stab stab stab stab stab stab stab stab stab stab stab stab cmon it's time boys to stab stab stab
19 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1909: They're all about points and you called it Austria.... Schmo's. Like I said, never again a high stakes games. They're the worst.
19 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1910: Definition of a schmo please? Is that when someone is a really sound ally and does things like "support" their ally rather than stand back and watch them die and then wonder why one's position isn't as strong as you thought it was?
If so, then yes, I am definitely a schmo...lol
19 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1910: ghost rankings are my one and only love -- gave up on points a long time ago.
19 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1910: Oddly enough I'm doing okay on both fronts. Better in ghost than points.
19 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1910: But it seems I'm a "schmo" for felling like if I took a shot at either of my Allies I'd get crushed by them.
19 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1910: i used schmo as a throwaway phrase -- don't take it too seriously. let me try again --
later, honorable and superior opponents. happy to play again anytime.
19 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1910: Don't feel bad Germany & France - I'm sure that I'm by far the biggest schmo here... top 20 in schmo points, but only middle of the pack in ghost rating lol
19 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1910: I just think it sucks because realistically, France would make a play for a solo here. I suppose he's not because of the high value of the game. Anyway, nice job Western Triple
19 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1910: May all he schmos of this world unite against the name calling non-schmos....
Oh hold on. They have already...sorry. Take that back.
Go schmos!
Thanks guys, this has been a very different and interesting game in many ways.
As for the high stakes...I have played a lot higher and taken more risks. This time I have chosen to allow my inmer schmo to come out as, guess what? I actually quite like Germany and England who have proven to be good allies.
19 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1910: The biggest disappointment was how long the RAT lasted. Wish they could have worked better together and put up more of a fight.
20 Jan 16 UTC We ready to draw gents?
20 Jan 16 UTC I have voted draw.
20 Jan 16 UTC Yes, good game.
20 Jan 16 UTC Randy! You were complaining about draws? You are like the king of draws! (Sorry, had to get some smack in.)
Okay game all. I will set a new one soon. What does everyone think about cost? Play cheap to just have some good competition or keep the price where it is?
20 Jan 16 UTC Yes, the cheek of it! ha.
I think 50 is a good size bet. Enough to make people interested but not enough that you are put off taking risks.
20 Jan 16 UTC I just didn't particularly care how rigid the alliance structure was in this game. That's all. Austria and I worked well together and we left Russia alone until it was obvious he was going down. Italy kind of screwed us as well. Oh well.
20 Jan 16 UTC And yay me I just became a "diplomat".
20 Jan 16 UTC yes, i'd like to play again. good game.
20 Jan 16 UTC Yeah, 50 might be a good medium amount for someone to just say "screw it" in the middle of the game and make it more interesting.
20 Jan 16 UTC I'm in.
20 Jan 16 UTC http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=172933
boom, join up. first come first serve, might not end up being the exact same players, just to keep everyone guessing.
20 Jan 16 UTC And the password is?
20 Jan 16 UTC backstab

sorry :)
20 Jan 16 UTC Well isn't that ironic
21 Jan 16 UTC Do we need a 7th?
21 Jan 16 UTC seems like we might.
21 Jan 16 UTC I've got a couple invites out there that I'm waiting on. I'll give it a day, then open it up.
21 Jan 16 UTC Actually I think I'm out gents. Got a lot on my plate the next week or two. Peace out.
21 Jan 16 UTC Booooo. If someone wants to invite another player, have at it. No jerks please. :)
