08 Jan 16 UTC Thought I had a chance.... apologies for dragging it out a bit at the end.
08 Jan 16 UTC You didn't drag it out- it was a well played game.

I thought you had this when Turkey took Sev- you could have had Warsaw that year, I think.

GG, all.
08 Jan 16 UTC So the first ever SoS game has ended, how did it feel?
08 Jan 16 UTC gg;

I felt pestered by Italy.

Turkey, what was that move to Rumania about? Made me consider throwing it to Germany.
08 Jan 16 UTC Well, when I first heard of the SoS scoring I figured that more players would go for SC grabs when a draw looked likely ... which inevitably should lead to more solos. At least that is my guess. When I saw turkey grab that SC, I liked my chances. But it looks like they knew when to stop.

Thanks for the game folks!
08 Jan 16 UTC I thought the move to Rum was risky- you could lose Vie safely, but you might get angry and disband a different unit.

Sorry I pestered you. It took me too long to ally with you.
08 Jan 16 UTC Thanks to France for getting it when I asked for an alliance after taking Mars!
08 Jan 16 UTC I saw this coming to a draw and wanted to get some extra sc. This is a SoS after all. I hoped Austria wouldn't give to win to Germany.
08 Jan 16 UTC GG all
08 Jan 16 UTC I don't like this scoring system, I much prefer WTA. In this mode there really isn't much difference between drawing at 1 or 2 centres, or outright getting eliminated, and it belittles the contributions of the small.
Looking at this game, it's amazing that Germany got 250 out of 350 points with only 15 supply centres and that everyone else *lost* points. Is this fair for what is still a draw?
08 Jan 16 UTC Seems a bit unfair, yes. I wasn't paying attention to the points though, I cared more about stopping the German solo, which we were lucky to do. I don't know what would have happened if Germany had taken Warsaw when he could.
