11 Nov 15 UTC Gg guys
11 Nov 15 UTC Good game everyone! Good job aha and Amwidkle
11 Nov 15 UTC Yeah. Good game.
11 Nov 15 UTC Oh man, I haven't fought that hard to break stalemates in a while :P
11 Nov 15 UTC Glad we could covercome our differences austria. Btw germany might want to invest in a bigger fleet :)
11 Nov 15 UTC Russia your stab of Turkey was crazy... Never would have expected him to be the first one out.
11 Nov 15 UTC It was an amazingly timed stab!
11 Nov 15 UTC good game
11 Nov 15 UTC Youre welcome. I thought the stab was good as well :)
11 Nov 15 UTC I noticed that my fleet was lacking when Italy and France had me stalemated at Marseilles lol
11 Nov 15 UTC Fuck Germany
11 Nov 15 UTC Good Game to him Tho
11 Nov 15 UTC Look man, I just played smarter than you this game
11 Nov 15 UTC Germany could have won probably if he had spots open to build lol.
11 Nov 15 UTC It was well fought game.
11 Nov 15 UTC Stupid stab. Germany was running away with the game and you turn south? If Germany wasn't an incompetent tactician and actually built fleets it would've been an easy solo.
11 Nov 15 UTC Yeah that was what i was thinking hence why i rushed west.
11 Nov 15 UTC I know we fought Germany but I'm glad you did well, since the threat of you is all that kept Russia from eating me
11 Nov 15 UTC Yes I agree Entirely
11 Nov 15 UTC Stupid stab? It worked out. Results matter mate. You cant deny that it worked out well.
11 Nov 15 UTC Yeah, my problem wasn't in fleets, I planned to build more. But for like 8 years I never had any open centers, and was always defending home territory. If you hadn't left yourself wide open, maybe you wouldn't have been completely blindsided by that oncoming stab.
11 Nov 15 UTC Turkey you pushed me back really well but that stab from Russia was brutal, gg
11 Nov 15 UTC Cold hearted Austria
11 Nov 15 UTC Haha that is true italy. Though coming from the guy that stabbed, perhaps it doesnt mean too much.
11 Nov 15 UTC Yeah sorry Italy, I was tired of sitting on four centers. It also seemed R/G didn't want a four-way.
11 Nov 15 UTC On another note... I think this game is a prime example of why you should always do Mar-Bur as France in Spring 1901 instead of Par-Bur.
11 Nov 15 UTC I disagree on on that point austria. The problem i see with frances moves is that he didnt know if he was going north or south. That fleet should have gone to mao if he wanted to move to spain turn one or, as you said mar to bur and paris to pic with the fleet to EC. But he chose a weird combination of land and fleet moves from the looks of it.
11 Nov 15 UTC And yes i didnt want a 4 way.
11 Nov 15 UTC It was stupid because it should have resulted in a German solo. I looked at the board and thought you would throw everything at Germany instead of moving south.

As for Germany, in 1903 you should have built a fleet. You were fighting both F/G and needed naval superiority, but only had 2 fleets. Then in 1903 you again build an army so you have like 5 armies in France. It's god awful tactics, and it's how you ended up with all of your centres occupied. Yet despite your glaring errors you still got to 17 centers. This is what I mean when I say that you should have taken a solo.
11 Nov 15 UTC Turkey i think your just being very bias. In 1905 although germany was leading the board, he wasnt at that time a solo treat as he had little naval power. You left yourself too open for a stab to occur. With a strong allaince between E/R and A/I i only had to worry to my south and austria east. I provided an opportunity for austria with serbia as it was likely that you would target me in retaliation of my stab. it then comes down to how quickly we could eliminate you which was pretty quick and by fall of 1907 you were no longer needed my attention with most of my force. These units were then used against germany.
Just because has 17SCs doesnt mean the game is theirs. He didnt have a good combination of fleets and armies and he got punished by it as i got into mao and could have wrecked germany if the game continued.
11 Nov 15 UTC It's much easier to build fleets on paper,. I had to fend off England, who was more than willing to make my life hard, Balance keeping all of my centers in tact, and protect myself in the east against your inevitable attack. Had you not teamed up with Serbia. I could've solo'd years earlier, but not having open centers to build units fucked me over. Thanks for that Russia :)
11 Nov 15 UTC Seems like i did a good job in annoying you.
11 Nov 15 UTC I agree with Russia's assessment. I wasn't worried Germany would reach 18 centers, especially once Russia captured Tunis. All the other closest centers (Warsaw, Vienna, Venice, etc.) were well behind the A/R wall of armies.
11 Nov 15 UTC Towards the end I let Germany into Tyr, which was kind of.stupid, but he could only launch unsupported attacks from there. At that point I was starting to be more worried of a Russian stab... With Mid-Atlantic secured, I think Russia could have been a real solo threat if the game continued
11 Nov 15 UTC And I foresaw that, which is why just resolved to draw before anthing else could happen
