19 Dec 15 UTC Did NOT expect to last to the draw. Thanks all!
19 Dec 15 UTC I was out of options. Russia and Turkey were inexplicably protecting Austria and Germany and I had too many units in my rear area to continue trying to knock you two out. I was figuring on a 3 way draw, but I made too many mistakes.
19 Dec 15 UTC Specifically Autumn 11, when the wrong move was put in. I entered Tyrr Sea- Naples instead of Rome. I think if I put it in right I solo the game.
19 Dec 15 UTC In any case GG all, look forward to the next iteration.
19 Dec 15 UTC GG everyone!
19 Dec 15 UTC I spent alot more time fighting turkey then I should have, and it is unfortunate draw wise that both germany and austria lived, but I wasn't going to give you any more sc's towards a solo.... btw how did you find my flanking units?
19 Dec 15 UTC They were most irritating...had I gotten the build in '11 I could have eliminated them in '13. I made other mistakes but that was the bad one. Last turn I was solely concerned with eliminating Germany, I was ready for the draw at that point.
19 Dec 15 UTC makes sense, and if that had happened with turkey blocking the austria retreat then it would have been a much bigger draw.
19 Dec 15 UTC I didn't want to leave my fleet in the Tyrrhenian Sea with only one support and I figured there was plenty of time left to kill off Austria (and Germany), so there was no reason to take any chances. The fact that France (and Russia) agreed to the draw this season took me by surprise.
19 Dec 15 UTC I figured I had to take the draw before Russia withdrew his vote. I saw no prospect of Turkey getting after him unless I was completely hosed, so with no prospect of a solo and the risk of a loss I had to cut and run. Germany and Austria definitely got lucky, I figured them both to be out this last turn.
20 Dec 15 UTC I figured I had to draw and stop fighting you turkey or I would die and France would live.
20 Dec 15 UTC I just got dumb-ass lucky :D
20 Dec 15 UTC Good game. If you guys are for another one, here it is.
