06 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: Sure thing. My fleet will support you in.
06 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: Austria: are you comfortable enough in War to support me to Mos?
06 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: And how is he supposed to get Sev by supporting you?
Just out of curiosity...
06 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: I can support you into Moscow, yes.

Now that I know which unit it is on time I can also support you into the Ionian this move as well.
06 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: I mixed up the colors... Silly me...
I got you were asking the other way aroud.

Sorry for the pointless message before.
09 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1904: Turkey would you mind hitting the Adriatic and moving to the Ionia?
09 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1904: Or directly taking Naples. Either works for me!
09 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1904: I'll hit the Adriatic. Support me to Ionian just in case though. Also, I'll support Fin-StP just for fun.
10 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1904: Well England, what do we want to do now?
10 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1904: Well, I wouldn't mind a support hold in StP to keep Russia out of this. After that I guess it'll be important to discuss how we'll approach Turkey.
10 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1904: Sorry, I've seen it too late.

Regarding Turkey, I am pretty sure it will be an Austria problem sooner than later (probably next Spring, just after he finishes positioning himself all around him).

Do you have the popcorn ready?
11 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1904: Everything eventually becomes an Austria problem.
11 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1904: Turkey where do you see us going next year? Do you have expansion plans that don't involve carving through me like so much grocery-store cake?
11 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1904: Well, I do like cake, but I think we can possibly take Lvn/Pru/Sil to set up a northern defense. I don't know what France's plan is, but setting up a wall through the middle of the board should keep E/G at bay.
13 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1905: Hey Turkey! If you keep building fleets and get all the way through the Med we actually don't have to fight each other. That's pretty neat.
13 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1905: Hey England! Enjoy your Swedish vacation!
13 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1905: And what use will Turkey ever have for more than the 4 fleets he already constructed?

@England, why don't we help each other on a French campaign? He is sitting quite idle at the moment, and I guess you'd like a bunch of his SC for you to pute them at better use.
13 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1905: Turkey can take Rome, Tunis, Marseilles and beyond.
13 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1905: He already can without further navy, which is why I was asking it.
That is basically courtesy of your stab to Italy, you got a center and gifted 3, while removing the only threat to Turkey.

And now you are turning against me, the only power on the board which never ever consider a fight against Austria.

You can (and probably will) make me fall, but in this case you end up only with a strong France or a strong England, which both have the power to bottle Turkey in the Med, leaving the yellow armies with only you as a possible expansion route.

Or am I seeing it wrong?
13 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1905: Sweden is safe. Germany has been an ally and an ally he shall remain. If you want to use your Swedish fleet to help defend, I won't take an empty Sweden.
13 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1905: France I can help you take Munich if you'd like
14 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1905: Nah you can take it if your like, ive already set my army to support you, Munich's all yours
14 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1905: Coming from Tyrolia
14 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1905: Thank you France
15 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1906: I'm not sure if anything is going to happen, but if I am removed from this game, I just wanted to drop a line to say that somebody who apparently doesn't understand the game or how to use the "Orders" link has accused me (and likely someone else) of cheating in a game. So in about three weeks on this site, I have been cussed out in after-game comments by two supposed "Diplomats" and accused of cheating. Nice.
15 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1906: Well, the issue is resolved, still a bit frustrating though that when some people manage to play well there are others who immediately think there is cheating involved. Anyway, on with the game. Sorry for the unrelated messages.
15 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1906: People generally suck, glad you're still with us.
15 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1906: I second that.
Apparently lots of people do not need proofs to make accusations...
16 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1906: France I will support you to Ruhr.
16 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1906: Thanks, coming from Bur
16 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1906: England, if you do not want to go after France we need to figure out a way to counterattack...
16 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1906: On that front I can support hold at belgium if you'd like.
17 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1907: It seems that we're to the point in the game where we either draw, stab, or get creative with our moves to attempt to break or fortify lines. For what it's worth regarding the stab alternative, I will point out that I've had ample opportunity to take Tun/Gre/War and have held true to my alliances. What shall we do?
17 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1907: Yeah I agree it's a weird position. There were tons of stab opportunities earlier but now it's a little hairier.
17 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1907: I'm almost tempted to say draw.
17 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1907: Anything A/T takes from one another will likely just even out as it sits right now. Anything taken from France weakens him so that E/G can go in and clean up fairly easily...then we're back to a defensive line with 4 of us after E/G both grow a bit.
17 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1907: Then just go for draw. :(
I expected a bit more flamboyant game with the public diplomacy... Whatever...
17 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1907: I'm also surprised how it worked out. My last public press was very....colorful.

Lots of accusations made, mute buttons pressed
17 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1907: England you could always stab Germany....
17 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1907: Well, it would make it more interesting but I'm just not about that life.
17 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1907: Yeah fair enough.
18 Aug 15 UTC Turkey are you planning a very slow motion stab of me?
18 Aug 15 UTC Like you, I am just setting up defense. We have a line drawn where I can support Mid Atlantic now. A stab would allow weaken you and France and would allow G/E to move south against all of us, which is something I can't defend alone. No, I'm playing for the draw unless someone changes my mind.
18 Aug 15 UTC Hey can't blame a paranoid Austrian for worrying.
18 Aug 15 UTC England, you are the last one missing for the Draw... ;)
18 Aug 15 UTC Oh, apologies!
18 Aug 15 UTC I believe that's my first five way draw.

Pretty sure Turkey could have destroyed me by teaming with Germany. I respect the lack of stabbing, I'm just not sure I'm as honorable a person as you guys!
18 Aug 15 UTC And Turkey taking France would have been interesting as France took England.

Obviously it was in my interest to draw though! I wasn't going to be able to beat Turkey or Germany any time soon.
18 Aug 15 UTC Anyway good game, thanks guys.
18 Aug 15 UTC If I'd moved to Sev next season, and hadn't lost Lvn, I would have considered the stab in Autumn '08. If would have depended on what was happening between France and England and if I felt I could defend against E/G moving south.
It was an interesting way to go having the public press - first time I've played like that. I'm not sure I like it or not, but it seems to be much easier on my messaging than live gunboat with in-game messaging. I just don't type that fast.
Good game all. May we meet again soon.
