02 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 1901: Have a good game guys
02 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck all
03 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 1901: NMR Germany?
03 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1901: What does everyone think? If there's no Germany for year 1 we have to cancel...too important to the balance of the game.
03 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1901: Well having waited several weeks to finally get a game playing England (not my favourite country by any means) it is still frustrating that this has happened, as it does skew the game in favour of certain countries.
Its a lot like the idea of playing football in a desert ;)
03 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1901: Agreed
If he plays the fall turn then maybe we can save this game
Otherwise Id support a cancel
03 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1901: It does appear it is his first ever game...so that does not bode well for us.
04 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1901: Germany CD'ed. I'm voting to cancel.
04 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1901: Sadly, I have to agree. If I am honest, there is a rather obvious reason why I have two builds.
04 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1901: Why not draw and Split Germany's bet?
04 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1901: I'm fine with either cancel or draw. I'll vote both.
04 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1901: Agreed. Swapped to a draw vote.
04 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1901: Hi. I just took over Germany. I'm a little behind, but if I can find a few friends here and there we may make a game of this yet.
04 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1901: Ok. You re welcome then!
10 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 1904: Seriously Russia?
10 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 1904: He'll be giftwrapping a big boon to England, Austria, AND Turkey if he NMRs.
10 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 1904: It's just annoying as this was a very well balanced war in many ways
10 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 1904: If Russia CD's I can't see how this game will be fair anymore. Still a day to go so fingers crossed he comes back.
10 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 1904: And agreed, England.
10 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 1904: This game works perfectly with 7 average to good players
It can be played with 6 well when F2F but only if Italy is the country to default.
Russia dropping out at this stage is a big pity.
10 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 1904: Agreed
10 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1904: Ok....Russia is back.
10 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1904: yes
19 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 1907: OPEN LETTER TO ENGLAND FROM GERMANY

My friend, you have been an excellent alliance partner - trustworthy and a fine Dip player. However, I must regretfully terminate our alliance at this time, and all assurances and agreements contained therein.

I assure you that this decision is not made lightly, and is not due to any fault of your own, but rather stems from an obligation to not support anyone beyond the point where they are in a position of being a bona-fide solo threat. It would seem odd that anyone at 10 SCs could be such a threat, but I am of the opinion that you have managed just this, by deferring your attacks on soft targets in order to leave them for the final push.

Sincerely, GERMANY.
19 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 1907: Well that is a real pity. Especially with the effort I put in to help you from the outset.
And even in the last go around arranged my units so as not to be a threat to you.
I guess that was a mistake perhaps as it has given you the "Dutch Courage" to turn.
But at least I tip your hat off to you.
I am sure this has been influenced by others who see me more of a threat to you than I really am.
I had hoped we could work together to a draw but this is most unfortunate.
I respect your class however.
I hope we don't both regret this moment.

Your ally,
England
21 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1907: England has been the sneakiest of players this game. Getting everything into position before dropping the hammer. Not saying that as a bad thing though :)
21 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1907:
21 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1907: England is a very good player. I agree.
22 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1907: Kind words. But this one has a long way to go yet.
22 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 1908: Well Austria is going to help England solo it appears, or perhaps go in with him for a 2-way draw. Good luck England.
22 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 1908: Germany, I can't help you against England since Austria is going to attack me. Sorry.
22 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 1908: Whining about it in global chat isnt going to buy you any sympathy
Im attacking you because you attacked me, and I cant trust you
End of story
Please drop it and stop crying about it
22 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 1908: You justifying attacking me because I attacked you is laughable. I attacked you after you stabbed me you nitwit.
22 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 1908: What a tool you are
22 Jun 15 UTC Spring, 1908: I'm not trying to buy any sympathy. I'm trying to get Germany to try and talk sense into you. I also don't care what you think. You've stabbed me twice now. You're an untrustworthy player.
27 Jun 15 UTC I don't care what anyone thinks, but I'm stunned that Austria is playing so ridiculously. This a winner take all game and he's highly ranked but he's practically ignoring England's march to victory, if not outright aiding it. What?
27 Jun 15 UTC What a joke!
28 Jun 15 UTC God dammit Austria.
28 Jun 15 UTC Congratulations, England. Well done.

Austria, not so much.

Nice playing with you all.
28 Jun 15 UTC Gg everyone but Austria.
28 Jun 15 UTC Thank you guys.
Enjoyed the game.
Bit sad about the bad spirit that erupted.
Perhaps in future games we can play it like it is what it is: a game.
Have a wonderful day.
28 Jun 15 UTC I've never understood people saying "it's a game" what does that mean? That people can't get upset about poor play in said game?
28 Jun 15 UTC Gg all!
Fun game :)
Im not a poor sport about losing like some
28 Jun 15 UTC What I mean is that is a game. Not realt life.
At no point is it any cause for anger or angst towards another.
And as for name calling and swearing at others: that is completely uncalled for and reminds me of the school playground quite frankly. And we all know the line. Calling someone a wally or a plonker for a stupid move is one thing. Angry name calling is another.
Webdip is not a place to exercise anger. Take anger management classes if anger is an issue.
29 Jun 15 UTC I love people preaching to others about anger management online. You don't know anything about me or if I'm angry when I say he played stupidly. He did. There's no anger required there. It's an objectively true fact.
How about you keep your preaching to yourself? You sound like a superior judgmental person. Maybe you should take some classes to work on that.
01 Jul 15 UTC you called him a tool dude. Wake up. Smell the coffee.
