Autumn, 1911: The German navy pledges to rescue any survivors of the tragic four-way collision in the Tyrrhenian Sea, regardless of their nationality.
Autumn, 1911: Though many English lives were lost this day, our catastrophe is eclipsed by the Italian losses. We are deploying more forces to the area to assist in rescue efforts
Spring, 1912: Here is to one of the last 4 games still running!
Spring, 1912: Italy wants in dat 4 way
Spring, 1912: Italy has defended itself well so far :P Italy is also a replacement player with not as much at stake.
Spring, 1912: back in Autumn 04' if old Italy had stayed, this could be an entirely different game. New Italy, New Shit
Spring, 1912: See, I like continuity
Spring, 1912: Hey, my shit ain't too bad :P
Spring, 1912: I do hope they eliminate you. They should realize a 3 way is possible and easy to do
Spring, 1912: How nice of you Austria. Im glad that you care.
Spring, 1912: always :P
Spring, 1913: Well guys, this could be my last turn, it has been a pleasure.
Spring, 1913: bye bitch! nah but gg
Spring, 1913: Ohh, you're still here... We never even had a chance to meet and yet you hate me :(
Spring, 1913: the axis at one point had 18 SCs, basically us having control of the board, and then old italy left, and YOU came at me, leading to the destruction of both of us. now we're both left out of the coming 3 way draw. you idiot |
|
Spring, 1913: I am the third italy... You were gone when I joined.
Spring, 1913: Oops, sorry, forgot about Tunis. But I don't see how you do so well with only tunis in your name.
Spring, 1913: oh! then i like you maybe. screw 2nd italy
Spring, 1913: My first turn was in Autumn 1909, You just disbanded your fleet in Eastern, France was outside of Tunis, and your army in Albania was surrounded.
Spring, 1913: Just read your chat logs with old Italy. All I can say is WOW!!!
Spring, 1913: that was 2nd italy the ballad of i hate you |
|
Autumn, 1913: And again we have a missed order. Can I suggest Tuscany just holds?
Autumn, 1913: Sorry guys, thought I had hit ready.
Autumn, 1913: Well good game, pleasure meeting you all.
Autumn, 1913: gg Italy | |
Autumn, 1913: Good game mate.
Autumn, 1914: awww, shiiiiiit I messed up the Finland move.
Autumn, 1914: So we can draw this... Or I'm going to need a pause over the weekend.
Autumn, 1914: Pause vote is in
Autumn, 1914: I'm fine either way so I'll defer to the majority position, but this is just the opening round of the tournament and unless we draw now this game could drag on
Autumn, 1914: After next weekend I'm moving to another country so that will require another pause but hopefully only a few days
Autumn, 1914: Another delay? This game has been ripe with them. Why don't we just draw and call it a good game and see eachother in the next round?
Autumn, 1914: I mean, Germany could just ready his disband
Autumn, 1914: Haha 5 points for enthusiasm France.
Autumn, 1914: Don't get me wrong, I'm loving this game and don't mind it going on for quite some time yet. A true game of Diplomacy like this one is rare. I'm just a little fed up with all the delays ;)
Spring, 1915: <--- Did not cause any delays :P
Spring, 1915: Didn't you miss your orders not two turns ago?
Spring, 1915: Moderator: (ghug): How long are you going to need to pause for, Turkey?
Spring, 1915: That was only by half an hour.
Spring, 1915: Until Monday evening would be great, if that's not too long.
Spring, 1915: Oh, I'm not Turkey.
Spring, 1915: I'm back.
Spring, 1915: Probably only a couple of days while I fly over. So it'll be from next Monday until maybe two days later? As soon as I have internet again I'm happy to unpause.
Spring, 1915: Moderator: (ghug): Game unpaused.
Good game all. Nice job PW on not allowing me to destroy any of your units beyond the stalemate line. Pulling back was the one thing that could get me to draw. I will not be joining you lovely folk in the next round. It was a condition I gave to ghug upon stepping into this tournament (twice now) since the countries I took over had such an advantageous position. I feel like I haven't done enough to earn a spot to advance. Best of luck to those of you who have moved on. |

Thanks for playing gold. Someday I'll play a game with you where you're not England. As for my strategy of falling back, you should have seen France's disbelief each turn as I refused to put up a fight. Jokke, I'm glad you got into the draw. You wrote some of the best, well thought-out, most persuasive press I've seen in this tournament. Sometimes I had to ignore you so you wouldn't convince me. Draffin, I hear you asked atc if I was any good. I hope my play at the end didn't disappoint you too much. |

Pleasure playing with you all!
Good game everyone! As a side note I'd like to apologise for a lack of press in the later years of the game, I'm half way through moving to Europe from Australia and life got very very busy. Peter Wiggin - Haha you didn't disappoint at all, I was mildly convinced you were leading me to my doom but figured I should just trust you to the end, I only got as far as I did because of your help. Goldfinger - You scare me. Sorry I couldn't betray Germany for you...just didn't seem like a great idea Jokke - Super impressed how much you clawed back at the end there |
