16 Mar 15 UTC Spring, 1901: GL;HF
16 Mar 15 UTC Spring, 1901: Greeting Great Powers of Europe! The Kaiser is happy to extend warm greetings to all peace loving nations. Our diplomatic offices are open and we await fruitful negotiations...
17 Mar 15 UTC Spring, 1901: Germany is apparently interested in diplomatic relations with all peace loving nations. How quaint.

On the other hand, if you're a warlike nation bent on conquest, come talk to me. We'll go places.
22 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1902: Nice to see England has decided to just not enter orders now...
25 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: Is this game called "Everybody stab Russia"?
25 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: I assure you, our plan to stab you was independent of Germany's. I'd consider it coincidental stabbing
25 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: Dear Russia, I do apologize for the stab. I have remained loyal in the north, but as you empire crumbles, I like the crow, feed on the carrion...
25 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: I wish there was a way you could turn that into Haiku
25 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: You were stronger then
but weak now, and like the crow
I crave carrion
25 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: Strong in years gone past,
Now you stumble, and the crow
Now craves carrion
25 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: What are you all on about? Invading Russia was Germany's idea in the first place. He just got too busy with an aggressive France to help out - guess I can't really blame him for that. But Germany and I were the first ones to talk it over and I invited Turkey along to make things a little easier.
25 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: Hold the damn phone! This is a cut and paste of my communication with Austria re: invading Russia - "I have too much going on to my west and cannot afford a fight with Russia. I hope you can understand " - How that gets turned into in the global comments that it was my idea is beyond me...

I think dear Austria that you seek to manipulate public opinion...
25 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: For what reasons I do not know. I will take responsibility for what I HAVE done, but not what I have not (unless it is useful) ;-)
25 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: Writing anything in the Global Chat is by definition an attempt to manipulate public opinion.

And I won't deny you wrote that. I guess technically you never said outright that France was attacking you, but you left me with that impression. The above quoted message was the one you left me when you said "Sorry I'm busy, I can't help with Russia like I originally planned."
25 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: My statement was a cut and paste from our conversations - the one you posted that contained the words "can't help with Russia like I originally planned" were never sent to you by me...

Maybe that's what you "interpreted" my meaning to be, but it was never said...

Honor among thieves dear Austria...
25 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: Having gone back and looked at all of our conversations, all you've ever said was that blitzkrieging Russia on turn 1 "would be interesting," and that Turkey and Russia are "the two most experienced players," and suggesting a set of anti-Russia aggressive opening moves for me "if I wanted to go down this path."

I admit it, you got me. That was devious and as chagrined as I am, I must respect how well that was done.
25 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: And I must respect (and be a little wary) of how you did it dear Austria...
25 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: I meant to say "of how WELL you did it"...
25 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: Oh how I love and hate this game...
25 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: Oh how I love and hate this game...
25 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: Germany, you wanted to attack me?! Typical WWI Germany, sign the Ottomans up then leave them in the lurch :'-(
25 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 1903: I was merely surveying the land dear Turkey. Note those were pre 1901 comments...
10 Apr 15 UTC Autumn, 1908: All, on the road, trvelling for business. Will check back in and toggle at around 7 PM tonight...
