01 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2: Done. I have been playing a short time. I have seen so many NMRs I can't even count them. They really throw the balance of games out of whack sometimes.
01 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 3: So ummm... Persia seems really strong...
01 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 3: I'd love some help over here...
01 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 3: I will head for Sarmatia immediately.
01 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 3: Egypt - thanks for joining the game!
02 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 3: I had expected a fair game at hands. A one-to-one competition of strength and smartness. Nevertheless, alliances and treaties here too. No problem, I shall try my best.
02 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 3: Greece: Please have A Dacia support move to Sarmatia from Vindobona. I will then support your army to, and then holding, Chersonesus.
02 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 3: To Persia - please note that Rome without Greek interference and Carthage without Egyptian interference are exactly balanced as far as resources go - 3 home centers, plus 3 other mainland centers within easy reach plus 1 island each, with Baleares tough to get at for both sides.
02 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 3: Yes well I counter Greek and Egyptian sides on both fronts. Its my sheer luck that Egypt left midway and I had a chance to go up in the game. Otherwise, I would have been doomed. How would u call that balanced?? And by the way, without interference is balanced. But u ppl are helping each other and not interfering. So I don't call it balanced. It's 2-2 vs 1.
02 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 3: It's called DIPLOMACY. Being diplomatic is part of the game. This game type just makes it so people can't make secret alliances and backstabs. If you want no alliances try one with no in-game messaging period.
03 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 4: Carthage - please get moves in. The game will be wrecked if you don't.
03 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 4: I'm not going to change my orders. If he is NMR for this turn only, it may not ruin the game, as my moves are all incremental and supported.
06 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 5: EGYPT: Make your retreat and attack back into LEP next turn. You might be surprised at what might happen.
06 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 5: EGYPT: RIP
06 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 5: GREECE: I feel that I need to block the Persian fleet on Crete out of the Messenian. It is not part of our DMZ, but it is just off your coast. I will support your units upon request. Also, my A in Sarmatia is returning to Vindobona.
06 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 6: Thank you for the supprt Rome, move is set.
06 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 6: You guys are so full of it.
06 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 6: Why is that if I may ask?
06 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 6: Carthage means to say that even he is tired of your stupid alliance. If you have the guts, why don't you play on your own. Then we'll see who gets how much. Instead of helping each others fucking empires, prove your worth by playing all by yourself.
07 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 6: You are stupid. This IS a game of alliances. You're stupid if you don't try for at least one. It's the point of the game. I offered you alliance Persia in the beginning of the game.
07 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 6: You are never going to be happy playing Dip if you are looking for fairness or one-on-one matchups. There's nothing fair about Diplomacy, especially the way the good players play it (I don't mean me), and it's absolutely cut-throat.
07 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 6: The way we've played has been downright civilized.
07 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 6: This type of game isnt about alliances. Thats why there is only global messageing stupid. Its supposed to be everyone for themselves. Persia let me know if you want to do anything to fight back them back.
07 Sep 14 UTC And rome... shut up please... im allergic to stupid and your messages are making me sneeze alot.
07 Sep 14 UTC Yeah.... Sorry I took one of your center. Let's make a team I am fed up now. Let's fight them together. Although I know it's very difficult. I suggest we cancel this game. Carthage are you with me on cancelling?? We will wait for one phase. If both Rome and Greece don't vote cancel, I will stop playing. You can wait 28 hours but I won't make my move. This is a completely on-sided stupid ass fucking game and I don't wish to play it. To hell with you two. You can decide whether you want to wait 28 hours or you wanna cancel it yourself. Carthage I suggest you join me in cancelling and leaving if they don't cancel.
07 Sep 14 UTC If we both leave, they'll both take our centers and play about themselves then I suppose. Maybe even lick each other if needed. I will be leaving if the game isn't cancelled. I won't make my move for this turn as well. Awaiting your response Carthage.
07 Sep 14 UTC Else, draw the game. Everybody gets an equal share of the pot. Choice is yours.
07 Sep 14 UTC Im for a draw but not cancel
07 Sep 14 UTC Fine. Even Draw is okay. But if they two don't vote for a draw, I am leaving the game.
07 Sep 14 UTC Persia: Except for two supports in Chersonesus, a center 2 zones from my eastern-most center, you have gone head-to-head with a single opponent this whole game, and lost. You really have nothing to complain about. Greece beat you 1 on 1.
07 Sep 14 UTC I have fought Carthage with virtually no help 1 on 1. I don't see how this has been so unfair.
07 Sep 14 UTC Oh really?? Well I guess you controlled the seas where I couldn't enter. Also, since you two were together, all his armies were focussed on me while all your armies were focused on Carthage. So it's obvious that you two will win one on one because of stronger support. Try fighting from two sides and you might realize why its been unfair. Because you keep getting centers, your armies keep moving in to support just one side of the battlefield. You still think that's fair play?
07 Sep 14 UTC Absolutely. We have played by the rules.
It's ended up being a 2 vs. 2 game, and you are losing. Do you complain that a pick-up football game is unfair if you start losing the game? Of course not. You play hard, contest everything, and try to turn it around if you can. If you can't beat them, better luck next time.
07 Sep 14 UTC Go to hell dude. The truth is that you don't have guts in your ass to play alone on your own.
07 Sep 14 UTC You should grow up.
07 Sep 14 UTC Rome you didnt fight me one on on first of all. I had to deal with eygpt real quick. But mostly you didnt have to worry about your borders letting you divert all attention to me. While i had to watch both you and persia. Makeing my units split. You might think inside you beat me all by your self. But my question is y havent you wiped me out if you have more than twice as many troops where your attacking. Just saying.
07 Sep 14 UTC And persia chill with your cussing. Its not inspiring confidence in me that you cant find a better way to express what your feeling than by cussing up a storm
07 Sep 14 UTC ★other than
07 Sep 14 UTC Good point Carthage. I guess that's applicable to me as well??? You got any answer to this Rome??
07 Sep 14 UTC But i have an idea i will make another game exact same except no global either. Amd we hash it out there hmm?
07 Sep 14 UTC GameMaster: rslsoccerkid was banned: Duplicate. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
07 Sep 14 UTC What a mess.
Do you guys want to just call this a draw?
07 Sep 14 UTC You guys know what duplicate means right? - multi's - having more than one account and playing as two players in the same game.
08 Sep 14 UTC U mean Greece and Carthage?? Or was it Carthage and Egypt???
08 Sep 14 UTC Egypt. I'm still here.
08 Sep 14 UTC I vote draw because without Carthage, Rome could go for a solo.
08 Sep 14 UTC Not because Persia. Definently not because of that.
08 Sep 14 UTC Why will you vote because of that. You could have won easily. In any case, it was your win
08 Sep 14 UTC Rome. I think its settled now. A draw should be it. I think now you would agree.
08 Sep 14 UTC I do.
