Autumn, 2005: [Russia]:Good question, pacific russia. I am still trying to understand that.
Autumn, 2005: [Brazil]:Anyone have any idea why the same messages keep being repeated in our message centers? And anything that can be done to prevent it? I really don't intend to send any of you the same message three or four times.
Autumn, 2005: [South-Africa]:Goodbye all. Is it just me bring new to this variant or is South Africa not the greatest country to begin with?
Autumn, 2005: [Western-Canada]:You mean that message brazil?
Autumn, 2005: [China]:It's not a bug, it's a feature!
Autumn, 2005: [Oz]:Normally it happens when pressing refresh. You can get around it by pressing a dialogue tab when you want the page to update.
Autumn, 2005: [Russia]:Echo
Autumn, 2006: [Kenya]:This alliance is too cozy I say we should email the mods. They obviusly have a prior relationship. Kick their ass China
Autumn, 2006: [Brazil]:Talking out your nether regions Kenya. Have you not noticed our cooperation with China as well? I gave you a chance to work with me and you did not do what you agreed to do. So you fall.
Autumn, 2006: [Kenya]:You would have betrayed me anyways. I shouldn't bother joining these high bets its always organized by people that know eachother already and work tightly. Enjoy your spoils and thanks for making the game pointless with your mega (or should I say meta) player. Bastards
Autumn, 2006: [Brazil]:Foundless accusations all the way around. Sour grapes much? This is my first game on this site EVER, I use to play over at the Dipworld Yahoo site. Find the competent players and work with them, that's all it takes.
Autumn, 2006: [Brazil]:Oh and nice...you WOULD HAVE betrayed me anyways...so I'll just go ahead and betray you first. Nice logic there.
Autumn, 2006: [Kenya]:I chose not to let you from fucking Brazil come over to Africa. That makes sense. Why would I give away territory to an obvious alliance. That's insane. There was no betrayal I just didn't listen to your instructions
Autumn, 2006: [China]:wow mate.. chill. It's a GAME.
Autumn, 2006: [Kenya]:I didn't use caps
Autumn, 2006: [China]:You don't need to use caps when you're using the word 'bastards'. I can tell you're upset. And that's why I said "chill, it's a game".
Autumn, 2006: [Kenya]:easy to say while dominating. You'd be frothing at the mouth if their convenient meta-play was attacking you.
Autumn, 2006: [China]:BTW: If you have proof or suspicions that some alliance may be against the rules, report it, by all means.
Autumn, 2006: [China]:I made sure I was a big player in the game. It was in their best interest not to attack me, and vice versa.
Autumn, 2006: [Brazil]:Exactly!
Autumn, 2006: [China]:btw.. what an extraordinary stroke of luck that if they would know each other, they randomly got assigned Argentina, Brazil and USA. That chance is very slim.
Autumn, 2006: [Kenya]:not if they started the game for the sake of Brazil and Argentina nor if they knew each other and disscussed outside the game. Not that far fetched it happened in a game of mine when I first started out and didn't know the rules. Two people invited me and the game was cancelled due to our China-India-Pacific Russia alliance for the exact same reason of people complaining about the alliance. I just think some mods are more vigilant than others.
Autumn, 2006: [China]:Well, report it then.
Autumn, 2006: [USA]:It seems more like you see an alliance that doesn't include you dominating the board(and you) and you've got some sour grapes.
Autumn, 2006: [Brazil]:I think you have no concept of how an alliance actually works...perhaps because you never intend to actually ally with anyone. But some pointers for you....1) have a unified goal 2) make many small agreements...then DO THEM 3) Look for ways to actually advance your allies interests and propose it to them without them ever needing to ask. Argentina I think never even considered that he'd be invading north africa or Angola (that early). I offered the convoys.
Autumn, 2006: [Russia]:Provided that people know each other... otherwise you get betrayed when a good opportunity for the win comes, like me, who got betrayed by both china and usa. And usa never betrayed china, even when we were fighting each other and the opportunity came.
Autumn, 2006: [China]:If anyone wants to accuse me, accuse me. I know that I haven't been contacted by nor have contacted anyone outside this game and don't know anyone in this game. That's all I have to say about this here. Back to the game it is.
Autumn, 2006: [Brazil]:The evidence is...we work too well together...and we don't stab members of our alliance. Again...I suggest you guys have no idea of how an alliance works. Maybe you've never been in a good alliance...I can't fault you totally for that.
Spring, 2007: [Western-Canada]:Ah i lost kamchuka :( At least i still have thule! |
|
Spring, 2007: [China]:Drats, I forgot about you! I need to rethink my strategy now that West Canada is threatening to take over the world again...
Spring, 2007: [Western-Canada]:Western Canada best Canada!
Spring, 2007: [China]:Western Canada best northern Greenland, you mean? *evilgrin*
Autumn, 2007: [Western-Canada]:Whelp this game is quite boring atm. Tell me when the backstabbing commences! |
|
Spring, 2008: [China]:Come 'ere and turn 'round!
Spring, 2008: [Near-East]:i love this bickering
Spring, 2008: [USA]:Why would backstabbing commence when we have a solid final 4 alliance? MAD. The one who turns on the others gets pounced on.
Spring, 2008: [Near-East]:if i were them i would draw at final 4... thats like 150 coins each
Spring, 2008: [China]:I agree with USA. It would be suicide to backstab.
Spring, 2008: [Brazil]:It's just mop up now. To go from four to three even will add a lot of time to the game for little return on investment.
Spring, 2008: [Western-Canada]:Do i sense some fear mister lowest sc aka brazil?
Autumn, 2008: [Brazil]:Did anybody hear something? No? OK
Autumn, 2008: [China]:I think a llama farted. That's all ^_^
Autumn, 2008: [Western-Canada]:Definitly some fear ;) Dont worry brazil, the mignty greenlandisch soldiers will leave you alone. |
|
Autumn, 2008: [USA]:I think I'll take Thule this year lol
Autumn, 2008: [China]:I'm afraid that won't shut him up... he'll just go underground.. ;)
Autumn, 2008: [Western-Canada]:viva la resistance!
Autumn, 2009: [Oz]:Good Game you four, glad to have made it to end.
Autumn, 2009: [China]:Haha USA took Thule. :D
[China]:Good job, partners. And good game and good resistance to the opponents. It's near impossible to do anything against the 4 biggest countries teaming up.
[Argentina]:Thanks and congratulations to my allies, that was a fun one. |
