05 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1901: hello
10 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: Hello
10 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: We are in love.
10 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: Is this an official declaration of an alliance?
12 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1902: No, it is not.
12 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1902: An official declaration of alliance would be " we are now allies"
12 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1902: It is a declaration of Love. Did you say hello to me?
12 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1902: It was simply a response to your saying hello
13 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1902: You said it again. We are in Love.
13 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1902: Friends with detriments.
13 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1902: All you need is love
13 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1902: Hello
15 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: Italy and Russia? Are you there? Only 30 mins left. Shoukd we ask a mod to pause the game to prevent 2 NMRs?
15 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: I ve contacted the mods. I hope that s ok for all of you.
15 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: That was damn close ... so ... how do we proceed? Wait a day or 2 and start advertising for replacments if they don't come back?
15 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: (bo_sox48): Russia hasn't been on the site in a few days, so I'll email them if they haven't come back by the end of the weekend. As for Italy, he's been here during this phase, so I expect he'll return again and enter orders.
15 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: Thanks, bo.
16 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: Screw this game let's cancel, it's barely begun and it's gone to shit.
16 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: I don't like the idea of replacements coming in with a different mindset in a press game, all the wrangling that went on before gets nullified. My cancel is up, please vote cancel.
16 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: In my experience, replacments usually stick to the previous ppayers agreements in full press games - except if those agreements are obviously bad for him ...
I would definitely prefer to go on with the game - if possible with the initial players, if not, then with replacmemts
18 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: Welcome back, Russia.
18 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: Now all we need is Italy and we can go on with the game
19 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: CANCEL THIS!
19 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: Three people haven't even voted unpause. Let's cancel!
19 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: The others probably didn't unpause because Italy did not come back yet and they did not want to get surprised by an unpause.

You ruined your relation with France by entering the Channel and refusing to leave, you did not make me happy by working with my enemy to grab an empty SC away from me, and your ally is not in a good position right now ... I would want to cancel such a game as well. But asI am not in your position, I would still prefer to go on with this game with a replacment Italy.

We know Englands position on this, and you know mine ... Can the other players please state their positions as well. If a majority agrees to continue this game, I ll contact Bo to ask him to advertise for replacment while preserving anonymity of the new Italy.
19 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: I say continue the game.
19 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: :( :( :( :( :(
19 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: I say continue the game.
19 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: Well, of the 6 remaining players, 3 stated to want to go on, and everyone voted to unpause.
I'll contact the mods to organize a replacment for Italy.
19 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: My vote is on continue. I view it as a learning exercise. If you can't convince a replacement to stick to a plan, then it probably wasn't a very good plan.

Besides, don't we have the same Russia back, so isn't it not an issue for you England?
20 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: Hi guys, new player. Even though I could unpause and do a surprise attack at Austria or something, I feel it is fair to do at least a bit of diplomacy with everyone.
20 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: (jmo1121109): Hello, I noticed there was only 1 minute before the next turn so I added 48 hours and unpaused so you all have time to exchange press. Please email webdipmod@gmail.com if it looks like anyone is going to miss getting orders in due to the game being unpaused.

20 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: Huh, my bad. Didn't realize the timer would reset. Guess I couldn't have done anything surprising.
20 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: Gah, just saw this. Thanks jmo. This works just fine.
26 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1903: England and Turkey declare peace and neutrality! We will dwell within our current borders and not expand. It seems to me that France and Germany are cooperating, and will dominate, and the other powers should get freed up to resist them. Turkey, please acknowledge.
26 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1903: I acknowledge this declaration.
03 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1904: France is almost ripe.
03 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1904: Whereas England is rotten to the core.
04 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1904: Dudes France and Germany are going to be wiping the board *clean* if we don't start opposing they.
05 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 1904: The Kaiser has already destroyed almost all of the Russian Empire. The Czar has no power to oppose France or the Empire of Germany. We seek only to survive until this game is finished.
05 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 1904: Comrades, is there any one of the rulers of Europe for whom helping Russia is a viable option? I, the Czar of the Russian Empire hope the answer is yes.
05 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 1904: People of Europe The Czar fears the fall of Russia may be imminent, but I will do everything within my power to prevent it.
05 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 1904: My fellow monarchs of the continent of Europe. Germany is trying to destroy us, if we do not find a way to stop the Kaiser there may be no one left to wage the Great War against him. England was right! The Germans very well may wipe the board clean. An ALLIANCE with the French, which Germany probably has, would make their victory essentialy inevitable. The German Empire MUST be stopped.
05 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 1904: Italy,Austria,England,France,Russia. These are the only countries that can oppose Germany. The Kaiser must be defeated.
21 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: Germany is now Kaiser of all Europe, whether you acknowledge it, or not. I told you so.
03 Oct 14 UTC Sorry for slowing everything down by not finalizing, but I have a very busy Weekend ahead, and this way I don't need to ask for a pause
06 Oct 14 UTC Huh. I was wondering where this game went. Didn't expect Germany to draw yet, we were planing on making it a 3-way draw instead of five..
