Game drawn
05 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Russia]:Im big and ugly enough to hold my ground. Might as well draw now if you are going to fold that easy Oz!!
Too scared that we will all gang up on you...???
05 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Oz]:Petrified!
05 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Oz]:In truth, I'm just generally opposed to anything more than a 6-way.....just feels like an unplayed game above 6 -- so nothing personal, just working towards 6 or less and there happen to be 6 in the main/standing allegiances.
05 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Russia]:All good. I stuffed up this game when I tried to do it solo....big mistake. Now the world hates Russia!! lol
05 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Libya]:Maybe we could start to like you - if you turn against China and leave Near East and me alone... How about it?
06 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 2011: [China]:Do I get a say in this?
06 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 2011: [Libya]:Do Americas have some deal with the Wizard - to stop playing and help him to win solo?...
06 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 2011: [Libya]:Hey, guys; don't leave us here, alone with the Wizard and his little minion! :o)
06 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 2011: [Libya]:By the way, the minion is growing bigger and bigger what I don't like at all...
06 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 2011: [Russia]:Then stop attacking your potential allies and focus on Oz?!!
06 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 2011: [Libya]:Anyway, there are two of them, and we are alone... :o)
06 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 2011: [Libya]:I offered you a pact, but you insisted on the things that are very suitable for our enemies...
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Oz]:I have voted "draw" and leave to you collectively the timing of that outcome. Libya will crow that I'm cringing in fear to his brilliant leadership of the central powers, but the reality is that Brazil has returned from exams. I am committed to an attack and now need the build/s to make up for having too much force at that end of the world to make up for the attacks that will come from elsewhere. I must attack, where I would prefer not to. A Draw resolves that dilemma. What say you all?
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [China]:As your ally, I will also vote Draw
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Libya]:What about that story about six is maximum?...
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Libya]:And what would the pleasure of the solo win be, when two strongest competitors had disappeared from the map?... It sounds pretty strange that you vote for draw now when they seem to be back... and it doesn't have anything with my brilliant leadership; just with your playing style...
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Libya]:Now when (if?) everybody is in the game, then I see the reason for playing; without that it's always little unethical... My opinion; nothing personal.
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Libya]:By the way, do we have the same players in Brazil and Quebec or somebody's took the positions?
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Libya]:Another thing; I would vote for draw to save my Arabian ally, but I'd rather not before Russia is down. So, I strongly believe Near East could survive until we don't erase the white colour from the map; then - we could talked seriously about draw. My proposal.
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Near-East]:Yes, I totally agree with Lybia. Not because he is my ally, but because he is right. It's silly to have early draws, or even draws with more than a handful of players. I am very much aware that I will be defeated soon, but that doesn't change things.
I found the sleeping giants in america rather strange. Oz looked into Beaufort, but went back. Strange to me. No willingness to fight, The reference to Brazil's exams is also kind of strange. Brazil told this just Oz?
Just kill me.
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Libya]:That's the Spartan spirit! I am glad that we have had a chance to cooperate!
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Libya]:Hello, Kenya; my dear neighbor... shall we fight together until the victory or death?
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Libya]:Hello, Kenya; my dear neighbor... shall we fight together until the victory or death?
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Libya]:Another thing, I expect somebody of sleeping giants in America to react similarly and fight back the "maybe-yes-maybe-not-let's-be-first-secure-we-won't-loose-coalition" together with us. :o)
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Libya]:Especially, if Near East's doubts are unfounded...
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [China]:I will agree to stop attacking Near East if you leave my southern units alone and you draw
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Kenya]:There are no rules for drawing. It is whatever anyone agrees to. i.e. Diplomacy!
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Oz]:I will not press the case much as I do not mind the fight, but I will answer Libya's questions. People dropping is the unfortunate but natural state of web diplomacy and I do not generally react one way or another to the randomness of it -- just deal with it and move on. What happens less is the return of that same player with some real life reason as to their disappearance. Early in a game it doesn't signify much, but here I was struck by a thought of fairness that Brazil should not lose all -- he had earned a spot fairly and had been a fair ally in the past to me and others. I simply mean to do a good turn. If it falls on deaf ears, I can do no more. I will leave my vote as it is and play on.
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Kenya]:I have usually seen that people want to cancel when the CDs don't help them, but if they do help them, then they want to "soldier" on. But not always.
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Oz]:Aye, Kenya, there are those, too. Hard to rest on one's reputation in an anon game, but I do not blow with the wind.
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Russia]:Why would you let near east survive and not me??? That seems crazy!!
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Russia]:Near east has 4, I have 4. We are both screwed but why let him survive and not me!!??
I think the fairest is let us both survive or both die... But I guess life is never fair anyway..
11 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: GameMaster: Sandman99 was banned: multi/meta/no reply. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
12 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Libya]:Ooook... Sandman99 was China?...
12 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 2013: [Libya]:Maybe it would be pretty fair to continue now, because the weakest parties could use their chances and make the game more interesting and uncertain - if nobody retakes China soon. If does - then we can continue under the similar conditions...
12 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 2013: [Libya]:But if all of you decide to draw - I will, of course, follow you.
12 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 2013: [Oz]:What a strange game indeed! I will leave my vote in place and play on until enough agree.
12 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 2013: [Libya]:To be honest, the strangest thing in this game was your retreat from Artic Circle... :o)
12 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 2013: [China]:Greetings all, new China here
12 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 2013: [Libya]:Welcome, the new president! :o)
Let's see if the new China-man is going to help the Wizard to win solo...
12 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 2013: [Libya]:Or he is going to keep the [Draw] button turned on?... Or else?... :o)
12 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 2013: [China]:I'm still trying to get my barings here, lots of history
12 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 2013: [Libya]:Definitely... :o)
14 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Brazil]:If you want to win, you need to stop oz.....simple as that......
14 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Oz]:ROFL.....how do I solo win with the draw vote recorded? You can stop me at any time you want....
15 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Libya]:Ok, it seems majority is for draw; I pressed the button as well.
16 Sep 14 UTC [Oz]:Oh no......another drop?
16 Sep 14 UTC [Pacific-Russia]:get mods to draw it with only the players who are still in the game
16 Sep 14 UTC [Oz]:An odd one, but a "well done" to those that finished.
16 Sep 14 UTC [Russia]:I feel guilty now... I didn't realise that the points are shared when drawn.
