05 May 14 UTC Should have kept me alive England. After you attacked, I was fighting for a survive - it was in my best interests for Turkey to win as fast as possible.
05 May 14 UTC Good game!
And it was winner takes all so survice means nothing.
05 May 14 UTC But agreed england shouldn't had attacked you.
05 May 14 UTC I maybe attacked one more turn than I should have, but if you bothered to look at my moves once I went to draw France you would have seen I stopped attacking you and was supporting your units and cleared out of Brest so you could move into it. Gascony was supporting Marseilles this turn which you would have held if not for moving into burgundy. Survive is useless, so not sure why that is better for you than a draw, but congrats on the survive I guess.
05 May 14 UTC Spring 08 Spain tried to support your unit in Western Med but you moved to mid-Atlantic and I also did not attack Paris and vacated Brest. I also tried to move to burgundy to get into position to take Munich back from Turkey, but you blocked that too. It helps to check the orders in the endgame. The draw was still salvageable if you just held in Marseilles this turn...
05 May 14 UTC Anyway, congrats Turkey, well-played on your part. I screwed up early on moving from Moscow to Warsaw and by the time I recovered from that mistake you were in better position.
05 May 14 UTC Well, I did make the mistake of supporting MAO to Spain (facepalm)...
05 May 14 UTC And Turkey, Survive is better than Defeat stats-wise, you get zero (D) for both in WTA.
05 May 14 UTC Well in terms of survive Paris was guaranteed safe this turn, so you could have still stayed in Marseilles and tried to hold that (which would have worked with the support I was providing from Gascony).
06 May 14 UTC But if I hadn't given Turkey Marseilles, I couldn't have been sure that you wouldn't have taken Paris next turn... I purposely gave up Gascony's support-hold so Turkey would get Marseilles.
07 May 14 UTC What would I gain from taking Paris at that point? Your logic makes no sense. I need to keep you alive in Marseilles or he wins the game.
07 May 14 UTC Can't cut you out of the draw at that point...
