27 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 1904: (2ndWhiteLine): This game has been paused to accommodate a pre-arranged absence for a player. It will be unpaused upon their return on March 30.
29 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 1904: (y2kjbk): The player has returned, I am unpausing the game.
07 May 14 UTC Raffy, did Maettu wrong you by grabbing your lands and you wanted to punish him? I had a shot at a win, but you guaranteed it. Or was that a calculated move that one player getting all the points is better than two getting 6 points each?
07 May 14 UTC At 1911 i think could have made a stalemate-line against you ( together with Italy ) in the south , at least that was were i was working for . But Germany did tried a solo (or a 2-way draw) by attacking me ....... so i was loosing anyway .
So yes i wanted to punish him in the thought that either 1 of you 2 would end up with a solo , so i went after him and gave you the solo .
He must have seen that we locked y up in the Mediterranean , so it was his decision not to make a 4-way draw , not ? Now he has nothing , gambled .... but no points in tourney for this game .
btw congrats on the solo ( but it had to be a 4-way draw :-) )
07 May 14 UTC It's true, both my 1912 moves were quite offensive (and I indeed wanted to go for a two-way-draw). Unfortunately, Italy crumbled way too fast, so I stopped going for it.
Alas, I fear Raffy didn't get that we were already standing on a stalemate-line (MAO-Spa-Mar) and quite definately didn't need Italy for that and overreacted by throwing the game. A pitty, but oh well.
07 May 14 UTC Funny thing: I considered going with full force against France in spring 1913 (Mun-Bur, Mar-Gas), and in retrospect it would have been better too, as he wouldn't have been able to throw the game this way. Didn't expect him to move Bur-Mar tough.
07 May 14 UTC It's true that i did not looked at the 3-way draw possibility the last move ... but still think you would go and try for a 2 way , not ?
Anyway the only thing i could do from 1911 was to give 1 of you 2 the solo , either i stayed at my position and blocked Austria or i retreat my units to block Germany And yes i did that last because it was of course Germany that threw away the possibility for me to draw .
07 May 14 UTC Once Italy fell, I was committed to a two way. Even if Maettu you supported France in Spain and Tunis, I would have given you Spain and you would have given me Tunish for a 17-17 draw. Raffy decided to choose his fate, and I am not complaining!
07 May 14 UTC lol , i bet you won't
07 May 14 UTC Maybe we will meet again in next round :-)
