18 Jan 14 UTC Good game, all. That retreat to Bul, Rokakoma... Certainly gave me some moments of anxiety.
18 Jan 14 UTC I had a GREAT opening with this supported Galicia move I think, but I made two terrible moves in 1904 and my game was lost. Also I was hoping France will move on Germany a bit earlier, but it was just a hope. I made the wrong moves in 1904, especially in autumn, and that was all ... :(

From that point I wasn't really interested anymore.... Sadly it has effected my other games as well, total loss of motivation :(
18 Jan 14 UTC Sorry to hear that, roka.

I'm digging these top 7 games. Count me in for another.
18 Jan 14 UTC Gg all. I thought I was gone in fall '07 when France finaly entered Ruhr. That turn I changed my orders several times, from Mun - Ruh to Mun - Bur into final Mun s Bur h. Which was wrong of course. Because I've been told lately I had "trusting issues" I tried with a soft variant. Luckily France didn't execute a perfect stab and Turkey saved my ass by supporting me to Moscow.
Up for another one as well.
18 Jan 14 UTC Split :) ... I cant join, I will not play anymore,
it seems i completely forgot how to play this game.
18 Jan 14 UTC Not true but if it were that would be a reason to join another one:)
what were your thoughts when you retreated to Bulgaria? That was your only mystake imo.
18 Jan 14 UTC I am on my phone right now, i will write in an hour
18 Jan 14 UTC So, that retreat was on purpose, from the very beginning, futhermore it was planned.
The plane for 1904 Spring was, Sevastopol bounces in Armenia, Bulgaria bounces Const (or gets it), so Sevastopol gets Black Sea by autun for 100%

My first mistake was I changed my orders last minute and didn't bounce syria, which would have saved constatni instantly as well.

Then the far bigger mistake was made by me in autumn, as I changed my orders last minute again. I was thinking warshaw attacks Galicia (to take away support) and Sevastopol takes rumania, while black sea bounces Sevastopol. That move would have given me Bud+Rum, and a new build in sevastopol, so my original plan of being in cons/ankara and getting a new build while taking black sea would have just worked perfectly.

Anyway, I am (or getting) defeated in ALL my other games since 1904 in this game, I am completely out of focus and motivation ever since, so I can't join any games now. Something is completely wrong with the way I see games globally these days, and until I cannot figure out what's that, it's better for me not to join any games. I do expect fundamentally different moves from other players, which was never the case, and it costs me a lot, and a defeat eventually.
18 Jan 14 UTC Yeah,I checked this now and the plan made perfect sense, too bad for the late changes.Except that you wouldn't have remained in Warsaw in this case.
18 Jan 14 UTC I would have remained there, galicia wasn't moving. I'm glad you value my plan, to bad it didn't work because of my lack of determination ... :(
18 Jan 14 UTC Yes but if you cut Galicia from Warsaw you can't move it to Silesia as well.
18 Jan 14 UTC Oops, sorry, you were talking about the fall cut,my bad.
Anyway,I'm not sure if all that would have worked out,it would depend on what Aus/Ita does,at the particular moment they are strongly allied. But there is a chance for Italy to stab with this manuevar of your's...
18 Jan 14 UTC yeah, sure. It was a risk, and I chose to take an other scenario, and I was wrong. This happens often. But as I said, back in the old times it didn't really cause me a trouble to predict the moves of other players, recently it does, hence I have to figure out what has changes, me, or the game. I guess it's me, a lot or real life issues going on right now (in a good way) and I guess my attention is hardly here...
18 Jan 14 UTC Ok,if you change your mind a spot will be open for you, just send me a note.I'm waiting for some other players from the top to join our next game, when that happens I'll start sending invitations...
See you!
18 Jan 14 UTC We'll see, still these games are the best for my taste, I like playing with you guys, because you don't do stupid moves :) Let me know, if you know when is the expected starting date.
18 Jan 14 UTC Roka, I feel your pain. There has certainly been a learning curve for me coming back. I seem to be doing OK in these slow games, but I had a number of frustrating live games as I shook off the cobwebs. GR drop to prove it.
18 Jan 14 UTC I have mixed feelings about the retreat to Bul. I'm not sure what I would I have done in your place.
18 Jan 14 UTC Yeah, Spit, I thought that France was going to pick up a center or two that he didn't. I didn't want to have to rush to set up a stalemate line while Austria and Italy were in the game so I supported you in the hopes of propping you up.
19 Jan 14 UTC Of course Barn,I was aware about why you did it,in the particular moment there was a real French solo threat and I'm not sure I would have stopped him without the additional Berlin army.
It was nothing but the right call, that's why I wasn't surprised at the end to see who Turkey was.
