22 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: But after Russia taking munich, you have nowhere to go.
22 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: Munich is just a spring move to Burgundy.
22 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: How would he be possible to jump from Munich further west? in that case he will have to attack me or you (turkey).
22 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: I am quite amazed by how tight this game is. Very interesting. I like it.
23 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: I agree with England. Turkey has boxed itself in with alliances. It has to backstab someone if it wishes to expand in anyway. And, looking at Turkey's position, Italy would be an easy target, especially since it has convinced Italy to move West.
23 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 1904: allright, with russia going against me I stand no chance.
Italy will be crushed between france and Turkey and than you have the typical juggernaut so france will be the last one gone..
too bad.
23 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 1904: it'll be interesting to see of France and England kiss and make up.
23 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 1904: Fyi, I have sights on Vie. Whomever takes Munich, I'll be asking a favor in a turn or two.
29 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: Now that was an empty promise.
01 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: @Italy, I'm willing to overlook your move into gulf of lyon, and the threat of tyrrhenian sea if they move to help you in your war on turkey. We can continue our NAP.
01 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: I would like to see Italy going after France and I'm willing to do quite a lot to make that happen :)
02 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: france, do not for a second think you have a strong hand here. you need 3 units to take care of my two which i can spare, but yo cant.
02 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: Just an offer, Italy.
04 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 1905: hello germany, i am supporting vienna to galicia. if you are interested in working with the only person not hostile to you, please leave a message
05 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 1905: Sure, thanks
07 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Germany, I'll support you into Budapest. Italy, is a proven backstaber so that's a simple mater of time. I just want to be there at the end. I'll support your moves in the Balkins just as I did Italy before they backstbed me.

Budapest and Trieste would make a decent restart. I'm fine giving up Rumania to either you or Russia. I have my goal to make it back to the Sea.

My support will be there for you.
07 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Sevastopol is continuing to support Rumania.
07 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Russia, I can support you into edinburgh? Maybe you can attack bur in that case?
07 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Russia, I can support you into edinburgh? Maybe you can attack bur in that case?
08 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Germany, support is set for Gal-Rum.
08 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: I'm surprised I'm still alive
09 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: france, are you as worried about russia as i am?
09 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Germany, the support will be there for Budapest. If Russia is open to it, perhaps a 3-way alliance. I'll help you gain Bud and Tri. If you're fine moving through the north of Italy, I'm fine with gaining control of the southern Med.

The Russian/Turkey alliance has been the only solid alliance in this game. You can choose to play along with Italy, but that will only last until Italy gets scared. He needs the centers if he wants to try and drive through Turkey and take a swing at Russia.
09 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: I'm more surprised that I'm alive so really I'm up keeping it that way. Sure I'll go with that.
09 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: You're actually in a pretty entertaining spot. Glad you stuck it out through the tough start.
10 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Germany - Turkey's offer, while good at first, isn't really all that much.

Even if you gain additional builds, you would still be unable to make units as your home centers are occupied (surprise, surprise) by Russia - TURKEY'S ALLY. How long do you think they'll let you live, given that they won't even let you grow in force SUBSTANTIALLY.

On the other hand, I am Turkey and Russia's natural enemy, and it is to my advantage to see you in control of your homeland once more. In addition, if things were ever to become hostile between us, I could easily cut through your last center.

Sure, it might mean Turkey pushed me back a but, but you wouldn't get any support from them. Please, think this through and you will see that maintaining our alliance is the choice for you right now.

With Galicia, we can push back Turkey and once that is done I assure you I will send armies north to help reclaim Munich and the Fatherland. That is more than Turkey's offering. What use would 5 centers be to you if you have only 1 unit?
10 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: I'm sad that Italy has declared me an enemy before we've even interacted. :(
10 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: @Italy, I am a bit worried about russia, yes. But as I currently have to occupy three of my units defending myself from you, I am a little bit more inclined to listen to what Russia might have to say about that.

@ Russia You are currently the powerhouse on the field. I would like for us to keep our fairly respectful treatment of each other thus far. In exchange, I'll help keep Italy off of Turkey's back, and support you where you would like in that front as well
10 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: france, helping russia at this point is pretty much throwing the solo. If you still have doubts, my build choice shoild convince yiu im pulling back
10 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: @ France We will may be in conflict in when it comes to the island of England, as I do want control of the Edinburgh, London, and Holland. In terms of my feelings of security, however, I don't require control of Liverpool. I didn't feel right taking up England's offer on Edinburgh last turn because I had no interest in holding up my proposed side of the bargain.

If you want to work together, I am willing to cancel my fleet building plans and pivot to a more southern direction.
10 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: err put a / between will and may: should of said "We will/may be in conflict...."
10 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Russia does have 3 countries to attack, France, Italy and Turkey.
Clearly, Turkey is not really an option so that leaves Italy and France.
The only way to stop him is for them to work together. If Italy and France attack each other, Russia is almost sure of his victory.

Just saying..
10 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: @ Russia, I would be willing to hand holland to you, I have not claim to it, but for you to take both edinburgh and london seems a little too much for me. If you are willing to choose only one, then I believe a deal can be struck.
10 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: You already have Edinburgh, it makes sense for you to keep it.

I will not be building a fleet this round.
10 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Nor will I.
13 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: So does italy become a poor sport and take vie or do they poke the bear in moscow?
13 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: I'm hoping for the poke. I like the idea that Germany is still alive and kicking in Austria.
16 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: Well, it's over for me, but good luck to all!
16 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: Wait what..... This whole going down with a fight isn't going how I intended.......
17 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 1907: @Turkey Sevastopol is going to cut support from Armenia, unless you would prefer it to do otherwise.
21 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: @France: I told you so. I fucking told you so.
21 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: why do people always try and play blind in the face of a solo....
22 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: fance, are you seriously going to keep up your stupid war in the face of overwhelming danger?
22 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: because if you are, i just have to say that it would be an all time low for players everywhere
22 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: @France I'm going to leave Brest at the start of next turn so you can take it back, and that fleet is going to head south to N. Africa.

@Germany I'm going to try to support Rumania as much as I can so you stay alive.
26 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1908: i give up. good game russia
28 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1908: @Italy,
Why are you complaining about others if you can't even finish a game? That's the all time low..
29 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1908: Hey, so I'm not going to have internet access for like, ten, eleven days, starting on the first. Would you mind pausing the game for that time? Or do you think you are going to win first, russia?
30 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 1908: I will finish it off in next couple rounds then.
05 Jan 14 UTC Congratz :)
