01 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: GUYS WHAT DO I DO
01 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: HALP
01 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: fuck it, yolo
01 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: fuck it, yolo
01 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Rules and strategy at http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Diplomacy in case you're a Hannah or need help.
01 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Hello.
01 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: fuck it, yolo
01 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: why does it keep sending that every time I log on? hahaha
01 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: or you're a Jozi...
01 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: By the way, has anyone other than Jon played diplomacy before?
01 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Wait, who is everybody?
01 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: not technically, i haven't...
01 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: i'm josh (germany), england is kutsko, france is matias, italy is jon, austria is hannah, turkey is jozi, russia is james
02 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: In Kafka Russia, Diplomacy play you.
02 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Where are be Georgia? The Great Empire of Russia demands tanks to be placed in its people's houses and homage paid to Kafka's mighty state.
02 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Georgia would be split between Sevastopol and Armenia on this map, but mostly in Sevastopol.
02 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: ^^I'm a Hannah.
02 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Khorosho! The Great Kafka approves heartily. Mother Russia dominate must world for greater benefit mankind. The Great Kafka promise 40 soldiers and a tank to all Motherland free from democratic tyranny.
02 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: I just realized, we've all made a terrible mistake.

We didn't invite Sebastian.
02 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: How could we:
A) There's no Poland
B) I don't want to try to negotiate with him. Ever.
02 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: The Great Kafka would not deign Polish dogs worthy of negotiation regardless.
02 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: Since you can only capture supply centers in autumn, the colored box means you are there but will have to still be there in autumn if you want to capture it. Please note they can support and not move.
02 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: not technically, i haven't...
02 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: That might have been supposed to be a private message.
02 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: Dat passive voice.
02 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: So you get units etc. at the end of the next autumn phase? And right now we're in spring?
02 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: nvrmnd. repost of earlier statement for some reason.
02 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: We just finished spring and are in autumn. To capture you must occupy it at the END of autumn. Then you get to do builds. If you have less units than supply centers, you can build new units in your home centers. If you have more units than centers, you must disband units
02 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: So you get units etc. at the end of the next autumn phase? And right now we're in spring?
04 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: So you get units etc. at the end of the next autumn phase? And right now we're in spring?
04 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1902: So you get units etc. at the end of the next autumn phase? And right now we're in spring?
08 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1903: Votes should only be used for serious matters. There is no reason to draw right now. If russia and Turkey miss another phase though.

Now is the time to push an interesting variant, that is horribly imbalanced. No one enters Russian, Austrian, or Turkish territory. The four of us duke it out in the west. This is a terrible idea that i really want to try. Obviously only if they miss another phase and CD though.
08 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1903: there's a good chance that'd make it impossible to get 18 centers.
08 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1903: but still, sure, why not~
08 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1903: Counting neutrals, there are 21. So it's possible, but you would have to dominate everyone.
09 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: Italy, way to propose we don't move into austria then move into austria
09 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: Also, in spite of what was just said, i'm voting to draw. While I'm sure said variant could be interesting, the legitimacy (and also how interesting it'd be to play) of a game where i got 6 supply centers on turn 1 due to one person missing a turn, without enough active players capable of slowing my growth to counter me, is questionable in the first place. If I wanted to I bet i'd have enough troops to essentially turn all of germany into one big stalemate line, and there's no fun in that. Besides, a variant like that is really just going to be unfair to france since they still have to deal with everything they'd deal with in a regular game (i.e. all 3 of their borders) and the other countries would have to deal with less. Also there are better variants for fewer people.
09 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: I was going to do that before I proposed. I meant to change my orders, but I think that I forgot to hit save. The orders I changed it to wouldn't have made a significant difference though.
09 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: Starting a new game. This one is open to the public and will hopefully have all 7 players. http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=124424
09 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: Please note that since this is a public game, try not to metagame. Even though we are friends, we can still attack each other. If we do ally, make sure its a strategic one.
10 Aug 13 UTC I agree with Germany
10 Aug 13 UTC Yeah when I said variant, I did say "horribly imbalanced". But I'm throwing a draw too. Only
England is left. When he draws, we'll all get a 15 coin profit. only matters if you actually keep playing but hey.
13 Aug 13 UTC Sorry guys, kinda forgot about the game for a week :(
