28 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1901: hello everyone. I promise to kill you all as nicely as possible
04 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: I will forcibly become friends with all of you
04 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: The fatherland makes no apologies for reclaiming the Slavic territories in the east for its lebenstraum. Once we have finished, we ask politely that the rest of the master race in Scandinavia be reunited so that the utopian world may begin.

Blood and iron!
04 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: Austria wishes to spread peace to the Balkans, or at least part of them, if it interferes with anyone else's plan.
04 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: Candy and Rainbows
04 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: Gott mit uns?
04 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: gg
04 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: woh. Don't just give up
04 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: Ffs. Someone make the tsar actually PUT IN DISBANDS when he shows up.
07 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 1902: My fancy daniels, I'm afraid for poor Russia's survival. I will *gasp* do what I can, but no promises. *SOB*
12 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: Venice has been made our new friend. Rome and Apulia shall follow in our league of friendship and hugs.
15 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: apulia has joined the league of friendship and hugs.
17 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: Can we try and ready on our disbands/builds/retreats phases? That'd be swell.
19 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 1904: The power will undoubtedly go out tonight here in Oakville, any chance we could pause the game so we still have some time to do some diplomacying? :P
26 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 1905: Richard Sharp's "The Game of Diplomacy" is a book about Diplomacy.

In it, he discusses the implications for a Fleet (in STP south coast) that needs to move west. He offers the three possible options: LIV, FIN, and GoB.

LIV, he says, offers access to Prussia at the cost of Finland and Sweden. This move is best only if war with Germany is imminent.

GoB is best because it touches everything Finland touches (For a fleet) plus Liv and Bal. In Sharp's mind, the move to GoB is always superior to a move to Finland.

HOWEVER, he does not consider what would happen if the German player were painting a portrait.

Thus - haha! The Russian scum is no longer in the home of the Nords!

Now rise up folk, and let storm break loose!
29 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: the treacherous turkey has refused talks of peace after they have ploted to take down the legion by means of its move to galicia in the following year. They as well broke their end of an established and bargained deal promising the withdrawl of one of their fleets from the agean sea. this move ignited a war between the two nations began by turkey, Austria has reacted and offered peace in order to try and preserve the once great friendship.. As by decree of the council of friendship and hugs, all Turkish residents of Austria are to be detained and shot in the aim of cultural purification. Let it be known that turkey had the ability to prevent this.
04 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: A noble end. Let us all have a moment of silence for the last Tsar, who fought bravely until almost the end when a provisional government overthrew him and placed his nation into civil disorder.
06 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1907: Alright Silsence is over party time ^_^
08 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: Brave words from someone who just made Turkey retreat into his own SC.
10 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: The legion of friendhsip and Hugs has made a turn for aweomsnees with state mandated euthanasia. The alternative to which is every strong armed civilian to pick up a brick and hurl it as far as they can towards the German Furer. Our brick battalions shall win the day
