19 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1: Hey, everyone - glad to be in the game. Rome: no hostile intent, just moving to Sardinia to get three builds. Egypt: I'd be interested in establishing a mutually agreeable DMZ with you.
19 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1: Carthage, in my case, I offer you an inconditional alliance until the end.
As long as you don´t move against me of course. I think it is the best option for both of us
19 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1: Rome: alliance suits me fine, since it appears we have other fish to fry. Let's set up some DMZs when things calm down.
20 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 2: carthage dmz at num/lep?
20 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 2: That works for me, Egypt!
21 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2: persia, want to ally and move west? carthage/rome are obviously working together...what say?
21 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2: Egypt, if you do that and go head to head with Carthage, you won't make any progress, but Persia will, and once he outgrows you he'll be in a perfect position to sweep you from behind while you're deadlocked with Carthage. I suggest we both hit Persia, gain some SC's then push west with our added strength
21 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2: sounds good greece
21 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2: looks like persia didnt understand tat his only option was to work wit either me or u...well played rome/carthage to get a alliance going at the beginning and sticking with it
21 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2: Could you hit "ready," Egypt? Excited to keep the game moving. Good luck against Persia!
25 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 3: Carthage, I am just sending the fleet in order to not be a very easy prey for you. I guess you can undestand
25 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 3: Where are you planning on maintaining fleets? Mine haven't moved and it was my plan to keep it such.
25 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 3: I have an idea. I will have a fleet in Massila and the Tyrrhenean Sea.
You will keep yours as they are. In order to my fleet in Massila and yours in Baleares won´t be a threat to the other we could agree on a permanent bounce-off in Ligurian Sea. If any of us changes his orders to move that fleet in another direction (which would count as treason) the other would end up in a far better position.

What do you think?
26 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 3: That sounds agreeable to me. Look forward to continuing working together - it's plainly working well, compared to our adversaries.
27 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 4: hey Rome, if you hit carthage now I will support to till the end and ensure that you get the win for this game. If you decide to stay with Carthage then he might get stronger and overtake you later for the win..
27 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 4: Sorry mate, no can do
27 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 4: Glad you're sticking with the deal, Rome. For the record, I have no problem drawing with good allies. My ego's not that big.
27 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 4: well played I guess rome/carth, hate ancient med when neither neighbor is willing to comply
04 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 5: Game's pretty much over, can anyone help me out with this question? I put F Aeg S A Byz -> Mil, and it failed, and I can't figure out why. I doublechecked the large map and the orders archive for all the units involved and I can't figure out why the move would fail. Not sure if I'm just being stupid or if this is a problem I should report to the moderators...can anyone shed some light on it?
04 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 5: Hey Greece - if you check the orders, you apparently ordered the fleet to support a move from Miletus to Byzantium instead of the other way around. That's happened to me before too and I was just as confused.
05 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 5: Ah, yep, just me being stupid. Thanks
