31 May 13 UTC Spring, 2003: [Kenya]:Trouble with asking for a pause in a World game is you have to convince 16 other people instead of 4 in a Med or 6 in a Classic. I'd agree to it, cos I'm nice like that, who knows, you might even help me kick Ghana's butt lol, but I don't like your chances of success.
31 May 13 UTC Spring, 2003: [Quebec]:Well I know my chances are slim but 13 people to go....
31 May 13 UTC Spring, 2003: [Near-East]:why you want to pause?
31 May 13 UTC Spring, 2003: [Quebec]:I am abroad for the said time period and have no access to this game during my trip. Or any Internet for that matter.
31 May 13 UTC Spring, 2003: [Near-East]:sure i guess
31 May 13 UTC Autumn, 2003: [Russia]:I have no problems with a pause.
01 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2003: [Pacific-Russia]:I apologize for missing so many phases. I've been having family issues....
01 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2003: [Russia]:It's fine. Real life first man, I won't knock ya for it. You aren't completely screwed, for now Turkey wont bother you as I'm at war with him. If you can work with India or OZ, you have a solid chance
01 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2003: [Quebec]:Everyone has seen this game by now so if you want to pause click the pause button, please.
01 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2003: [Near-East]:what do you guys think of the new game type?
01 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2003: [Quebec]:I also play on vDillomacy where there are similar maps but not enough players. They even have one massive 30 player WWIV map. So those variants implemented here are quite nice addition.
02 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2003: [Kenya]:They look fun. I started a USA and a New Europe yesterday
04 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 2004: [Argentina]:Hello everyone on Saturday June the 8th can I request a pause in the game during that following week I will be at a Christian work camp so it won't have any Internet connection at all. I would greatly appreciate it.
04 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 2004: [Quebec]:I'll find a free WiFi here to finalize my orders during my trip, but I'd still suggest that we would pause the game
06 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: GameMaster: Kool-Aid Man was banned: multi. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
07 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: [Quebec]:Well that shakes the status quo of Europe and Asia.
11 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: [Near-East]:I am going to be gone for 4 days so is there any chance we could pause
11 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: [Quebec]:lol, welcome to Open War-8, where pauses are made up and your requests don't matter.
12 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 2006: [Quebec]:Oh come on USA
13 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 2006: [Pacific-Russia]:Hahaha
14 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 2006: [Quebec]:Oh boy, NE is seemingly quitting again..
14 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: [India]:Seemingly quitting? He said he would be gone for 4 days and asked to pause.
15 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Quebec]:Wait, did Ghana and Kenya too miss phases?
15 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Kenya]:I don't think so.
15 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Quebec]:But you guys didn't put in any orders either..
16 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Near-East]:I am back now
18 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 2007: [Near-East]:I hate having to leave a game because by the time you get beck every one is against you
25 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Argentina]:I would like to ask for a pause on Wednesday. I will be leaving for a conference and I am not a 100% sure about there internet situation so this will make it a lot less stressful for me and save a little money. I will greatly appreciate it. It will be only from Wednesday this week to the Wednesday next week
30 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Quebec]:Why did we skip one build turn?
05 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2011: [Kenya]:Anyone know where that Indian fleet in Turkey came from or am I being thick?
05 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2011: [India]:it's an army and it moved from Iraq.
05 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2011: [India]:I mean Iran
05 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2011: [Kenya]:oh dear, clearly my eyes are buggered, well it is just after 5am lol
05 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2011: [Kenya]:how embarrassing :-D
07 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2012: [India]:Guys I'm on vacation for a week and it doesn't look like anyone plans on teaming up with me- I'm just going to be missing my moves from here on out. I have very limited internet access.
07 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Quebec]:So it is settled then. Kill FA, get draw votes in. No solos in this game.
08 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Thanks I will die quicker
11 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Kenya]:Argentina its over to you now to finish the job off.
12 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Quebec]:India go to CD already
16 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Quebec]:Finally India is getting the hint....
17 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2014: [India]:Well, since you're being so rude about it, I think I'll just stay to the bitter end.
17 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Quebec]:You were gonna stay anyway
17 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2014: [India]:I guess you're free to tell yourself whatever you want.
17 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Quebec]:You would have quit eons ago if you would have quit, but you decided to stay. But whatever floats your boat.
21 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2016: [Quebec]:India has left, put your draw votes in.
22 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2016: [Kenya]:India is NOT showing as left at the moment. Perhpas he popped back.
22 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2016: [Quebec]:Indeed
22 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2016: [India]:I'm just not eliminated yet. What if Kenya moved out of Delhi this turn and teamed up with me to mount an amazing comeback against you?
22 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2016: [Quebec]:I'd just put up a wall of NOPE up and do that until you would be destroyed and the 3-way draw complete.
22 Jul 13 UTC [Kenya]:all done. NOW get the draw votes in :-)
