21 Mar 13 UTC | Spring, 1901: Best of luck to all. |
21 Mar 13 UTC | Spring, 1901: Good luck everyone! And please don't be too harsh on me, I'm Austria :P |
05 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Very poor form, Germany, to continually log on and not enter orders. Especially when you have only one option and no need for communication. |
07 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1905: There has been a lot of diplomatic traffic recently as we all try and sort out how this one ends. I appears that neither EF nor AT will experience a split with a dramatic stab to get to a quick 3-way. EF have STP/MUN/SPAIN so is over the traditional 50/50 stalemate line, but AT still has within its grasp a unbreakable southern turtle position. It will be a near run thing to see if it can be done, but it will take a very long time to decide. Or we can eliminate the last intervening power and call it a 4-way. I would prefer that outcome myself. Thoughts folks? |
08 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1905: Well I don't like that idea at all. |
17 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1909: Too much vodka for the troops stationed in Moscow it seems... |
17 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1909: So much for your big speech about the 4-way, Turkey. |
17 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1909: Thought that was obvious -- France played a well-done trick that broke the stalemate line in the south and Austria was missing one element that cracked in the center. Wasn't inevitable when I wrote it -- said it would be a near thing -- and my side got outplayed. Not that Italy was ever relevant. |
18 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1909: I knew my place after I didn't get anywhere early, and decided to say screw Austria. Don't you feel so superior getting into a draw at best in an online game? |
18 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1909: Superior? No, just annoyed at your tweaking me for what was said in good faith earlier. |
18 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1909: Why did you say "screw Austria"? :( |
18 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1909: @Turkey - It was some harmless sarcasm. Lighten up. @Austria - You impeded my progress earlier, and it made more sense to work with France than to try and fight him. |
18 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1909: And now we are down to the big question -- for me anyway. Draw or slit my throat next? |
18 Apr 13 UTC | Spring, 1910: I'm thinking slit your throat :) |
18 Apr 13 UTC | Spring, 1910: Well, that was straightforward enough. So England....any chance you want to team up to throw off the dictator and claim an outright win yourself? Mun/Bel are easy fruit and MAO is sitting unprotected... |
19 Apr 13 UTC | Spring, 1910: I'm afraid it's too little, too late for Turkey. If you had jumped ship before it was absolutely necessary, it might have meant more. |
19 Apr 13 UTC | Spring, 1910: Oh, I'm not claiming any "right" to a piece...the issue is that 2-ways are unstable and one of you will figure out how to claim the win on the last turn. I just offer you a stable 3-way. Or a straight up victory for England with survives for the other two. |
20 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1911: OK, so Bel-Pic, NAO-MAO to bounce the Frog, North Sea to EC and you get Paris and Brest without fail. Plus Ankara and you have the outright win, and grant France and I survives. |
20 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1911: Turkey where's the love? |
20 Apr 13 UTC | Autumn, 1911: Go for the win, then for the draw, then for the survive...just going down swinging and at this stage its trying to get one of you to win before I expire....and England has the better setup. |
