24 Mar 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: Should we pause until we find a replacement?
24 Mar 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: Lol... who in the right mind would take over that spot anyway? I don't think we need to do that.
24 Mar 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: I hope he's OK. Ursa isn't one to CD just because he's losing. I'll put an ad in the Forum, but I doubt we'll get anyone.
24 Mar 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: He's never resigned before... hopefully he finds his way back.
24 Mar 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: Since one of the requirements for joining this game was a donation, I feel like I have to point out the new addition to my name ... It took a month to show up, but it's there now. I got a silver coin!! Woo hoo!
24 Mar 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: Abge said I could wait till I'm 18... lol... how much do you need to give for different colors anyway?
05 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Hey guys, do you mind if we pause till Sunday? I'm going out of town; not sure if I'll be on.
05 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Sure, but can we wait til after this phase?
05 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Yeah. I'm trying to get a sitter but I don't know how that'll go.
05 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: I have a sitter.. never mind.
05 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Is feel better about pausing this one for a few days than leaving it up to a sitter.
05 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Nothing against lakersfan, but let him sit your gunboat games and.we'll wait for you to get back.
05 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Voted pause. Just let us know.
05 Apr 13 UTC Spring, 1906: Works for me.
05 Apr 13 UTC Spring, 1906: Shall we start unpausing?
06 Apr 13 UTC Spring, 1906: I will be back on my laptop later today; I will unpause then.
06 Apr 13 UTC Spring, 1906: Thanks all.
09 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: Good game, jimgov, thanks for fighting the good fight!
09 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: Thanks for playing, England.

Sorry we never got to meet in the middle : )
09 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: Good game, guys. Kill MadMarx!
09 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: Figuratively, of course.
10 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: Figuratively? Hell, slash him in half.
10 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: Good game jimgov!
10 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: Ditto. If only Ursa hadn't CD'd, it may have turned out much differently for you. (He still hasn't been online since March 21—anyone know him better than "Ursa from webdip?")
10 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: I feel the need to explain my draw vote in global chat here. We are clearly not at a draw position. However, I feel like France's CD skewed the game, and because of that, I'm willing to draw with those of you who are left. I am not trying to use the draw button as leverage for any demands I have in game—I just promised some people that I'd vote draw at this point, and I'm good for it.

If not everyone else draws, I will continue to play. As to how I will play, well, Russia's diplomatic channels are open.
12 Apr 13 UTC Spring, 1907: For the record, I don't feel France's CD altered the game too much, he was pretty much done when he left, and even though things would have been a little different, I'm guessing the difference wouldn't change the outcome at all... But I have obviously been wrong before...
13 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: I agree, looking back at spring 1904, ursa might have held on for a couple turns longer by supporting holds, but with Italy and Germany cooperating against him at the time, his fate was sealed.
13 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: France's fate being sealed also, unfortunately, sealed England's fate... As far as CDs go, this one impacted this game about is little as could be hoped for, so to quit playing because of it seems uncalled for to say the least...
13 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: Abgemacht
13 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: If I hadn't been mercilessly attacked all game by a brutally effective late juggernaut, this game would already be over with a three-way draw ;)
13 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: I almost had a 3 way draw with England and France. If everything had been different, it would have been a done deal.
14 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: What do you mean by late, Italy?
14 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: The Italian message is confusing, how he says "all game" and then "late" juggernaut, but I think what he means is that if you had stayed allied with him (and thus, eventually, against Turkey), then a GIR three-way would already be in the books, but Italy can confirm...
14 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: Exactly. It would have been either Russia or Austria.
14 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: Okay, the juggernaut wasn't late... lol...
14 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: What, lol?! Are you seriously saying that if Russia hadn't allied with Turkey over you, that Turkey would have died and then you would have decided between allying with Austria or Russia?!?! That's hilarious, and it's pretty obvious that Turkey knew that's exactly what you were saying *immediately*, +1 philcore!! :-)
15 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: That's not even remotely close to what I said, but you know.
15 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: What portion did I get wrong? Feel free to explain a bit more, now that you got everyone's curiosity up, or at least mine...
15 Apr 13 UTC Spring, 1908: Hey guys. I need to take a break from Dip for a while and I see no point in dragging out a game that I'll eventually be eliminated from. I'll be moving to TUS and holding. Take from that what you will.

Thanks to everyone for the game. Luckily my absence won't affect the game much.
15 Apr 13 UTC Spring, 1908: Well, happy 100th, enjoy your break!
15 Apr 13 UTC Spring, 1908: Thanks for inviting us to your 100th game. If it makes you feel any better, there's an old Austrian saying that losing your hundredth game will bring you luck in your next hundred, while winning it, will have the opposite effect. I'm pretty sure it was an Arnold S. appearance on the tonight show that I heard it.
17 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1908: Thanks again for the game all.

First game on this site (also my first game ever) I was eliminated as Austria. 100 games later, I was eliminated as Austria. Guess I haven't improved much : )
17 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1908: Abge, you'd be surviving if I didn't fuck up..
17 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1908: True enough. Seems like in the 2 games we've played, we've each messed up once : )
17 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1908: There ya go.. guess we have to play a third now...
19 Apr 13 UTC Thanks for the game everyone!
19 Apr 13 UTC Good game, thanks everyone!
19 Apr 13 UTC Agreed. Hope Ursa is okay, wherever he went off to.
19 Apr 13 UTC Also, I'm pretty sure Wales is my favorite province on this map.
20 Apr 13 UTC And it's no accident...
