18 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 1902: Okay. So here is the deal so if you ever play another press game you can learn from this one. You came into the game against some top players and decided to do a single word press schtick. It didn't endear you to people when compared to the press others were sending. I tried to warn you that people weren't liking it and you said "that's their problem". Then you decided to paste the entire conversation with England into global, which is a huge no-no. I was going to help you up until that point but then I realized you wouldn't make a good long term ally. So there you go. At least support hold instead of moving off your spots. In one of your live games you would be pissed if someone ruined it on purpose.
18 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 1902: Am I the only one who wishes his press were as dramatic as that between Germany and England?
18 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 1902: 1) bad timing, ... not into press chat .
France: most probably.
Russia: you are full of assumptions, thus a fool in my view.
I can write4 pages and pages of meaningless junk if needs be, but as I said, to what avail is such an unvaliant effort of any use and...
I won't write more, end of communications. I HATE TYPING THIS SHIT ON A KEYBOARD. Sorry, ... take my 200D. I don't care, only GBs for me, they seem closer to what a real game would me like anyways.
18 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 1902: and I'd love to concede and give my spot to somebody else.
ANd I am not stupid enough to believe what Eng and Russia say to me.
AND I HATE TYOPING THIS IN. GOODBYE.

20 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: I had a rough week.... tralalalala... I took down my cancel.
I am your desert, hope your like chocolate cake ;P
21 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: You are psychotic. Or at the very least bipolar.
21 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: Or a comedian?
21 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: Sorry for the delay everyone, I was out of town this weekend, and am going to use the rest of the retreat phase to catch up on some press.

23 Jan 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: Is this game worth trying to get a replacement or is Germany's position not worth 124 points to anyone?
23 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 1903: I'm a little confused. Is England's forum link related to the Germany replacement question?
23 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 1903: Dharmaton is in this game...
23 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 1903: Ahh. Must be having a breakdown. A pity.
I don't think anyone would take his position for that bet. I still wouldn't mind cancelling and starting over with the rest of you plus one more. But I'm not entirely dissatisfied with how things are going, either.
23 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 1903: We have all put so much time and effort into this game already, would be a shame to not continue...
23 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 1903: I agree. Let us continue. Not counting GER, the game has been solid, and I certainly don't think his departure is tipping the scales. The best diplomats and tacticians should still end up on top.
31 Jan 13 UTC Spring, 1904: Free Ruhr ! _____ (Sorry, Real Life got to me :) Ciao!

03 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: gg Turkey.
03 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: Bye Turkey.
11 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Any word from Russia lately? You could suggest he "accidentally" NMR! ;)
12 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Destory them Russia! DESTROY THEM!!!!!!!
12 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Go team Russia!
12 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: I like having cheerleaders, but something tells me you guys don't look like the Laker Girls.
14 Feb 13 UTC Spring, 1906: What a messy looking board.
14 Feb 13 UTC Spring, 1906: It needs to be cleaned up with more purple. You are right.
15 Feb 13 UTC Spring, 1906: England, just finalize -- I want to see this shit before I go to bed so I can have my brain work on the next moves while I sleep. I unfortunately dream about Diplomacy every night so I may as well try to be productive about it.
15 Feb 13 UTC Spring, 1906: I reserve my Diplomacy revelations for the shower.
15 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: Reminds me of the excellent book by Andy Hunt, "Pragmatic Thinking and Learning: Refactoring Your Wetware."
We all do our best thinking in the shower.
19 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: Good game, Austria.
19 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: Thanks. I had a swell time. I think I coordinated moves (or at least discussed doing so) with everyone at some point.
20 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: Will we now draw? Or do I need to roll a die and decide to whom I'm throwing the game?
20 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: If you'd be so kind as to allow me to pick my two numbers on the die, I prefer 2 and 5, thank you.
20 Feb 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: No, he's going to roll a twenty sided die: 1-19 is Italy, 20 is reroll.
22 Feb 13 UTC Spring, 1908: Well, I did NOT expect to be saying this... but I guess I'm modifying my move set to throw England the game. Bohemia to Tyrolia with support from Piedmont and Munich, MAO to NA, EC to Brest, Pic to Bur. In the Fall, Brest to Gas, Bur to Marseilles, Mun to Bur. I'll check on the board when there's 30 minutes left in the phase to see if England's draw vote is still up, but barring a withdrawal of his vote, that's what's happening. The goal here, of course, is to convince you other guys to draw. If you think you can contain England, I suppose you can go ahead and let me die, but I'm naturally hoping you have your doubts about it.
22 Feb 13 UTC Spring, 1908: I'm open to negotiation over this, but I'd be surprised to be presented with a compelling argument to do anything else.
22 Feb 13 UTC Spring, 1908: That makes it a little easier, thanks. Even with your six centers, England would be at 17, and you'd have to disband and let Italy get at least one before long.

As TPWSNBN once said to me in another game -- (paraphrasing slightly): In the grand scheme of things, based on the orders you chose to submit through this entire game, do you honestly think we should view your life to be saved, that you've earned a part of the draw?
22 Feb 13 UTC Spring, 1908: That's it... If you all don't toss your draw votes up, I'm throwing this thing to Russia. Don't for a second think I'm bluffing!
22 Feb 13 UTC Spring, 1908: What if I type a sad emoticon?
22 Feb 13 UTC Spring, 1908: To answer your question... I don't feel entitled to anything in this life of mine, much less inclusion in a draw in a game of Diplomacy, but considering the marginal difference between a 3-way and a 4-way, coupled with the pretty reasonable possibility of England soloing provided I follow through on my desperate threat and coordinate with him throughout, I don't think drawing ought to seem such a terribly unattractive option.
22 Feb 13 UTC Spring, 1908: Even if Tunis proves impossible for him to secure, Moscow and Warsaw seem far from unattainable.
03 Mar 13 UTC Autumn, 1910: Alright. Can we be done with this once France's death goes through?
04 Mar 13 UTC Autumn, 1910: Good game, all. I'd say we might've done it if Warsaw had been pursued the turn I wanted to pursue it.
04 Mar 13 UTC Yeah, but in fairness, that would have only been because Warsaw wasn't defended the turn it should have been.

Good game.
04 Mar 13 UTC Thanks for the game, everyone, especially to Tom for organizing it!
04 Mar 13 UTC Definitely. It's been fun.

EoGs?
04 Mar 13 UTC Good Game all. It was very fun to watch. Even if I played awfully =P. Apologies again to AUS for totally screwing both of us over!
05 Mar 13 UTC No worries, T.B.
I'd be interested in an EOG thread. Someone want to start one?
