Spring, 1901: MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR.
Spring, 1901: LET US BEGIN THE GREATEST GAME EVER MADE.
Spring, 1901: TRULY | |
Spring, 1901: What is this 'votes' thing?
Autumn, 1901: You can vote to pause the game, draw the game, end the game.
Autumn, 1901: I really hate this game and its stupid "Time Constraints"
Autumn, 1901: I understand. I woke up 10 min before time limits expired this morning.
Autumn, 1902: Hey idiots, the Germany/England alliance is way too strong. If we don't all do something about it, we are going to be next. After France, that is. Look at France. They will get 1 maybe 2 supplies from him this turn. Meanwhile Russia is attacking Austria. The only sane one is Italy...and maybe Turkey b/c you can't blame him.
Autumn, 1902: It is literally impossible for England and/or Germany to get more than one supply center from France unless France intentionally moves out of a supply center and let's me know that it is going to happen. If France wants, he can protect all of his supply centers with certainty. Also, there are unfriendly people next to three of my supply centers. Germany is certainly not too strong. France will have 6 supply centers next turn and more room and fewer enemies than Germany. Look out for Austria and Italy. No one is even close to threatening Italy and Austria is in position to take over more of the Balkans. |
|
Autumn, 1902: I'ma step in and correct some of your errors here 1. It's impossible for me to get 6 supply centers this turn unless Germany intentionally moves out of Belgium. Which I'd be totally down for btw. 2. Although Germany is right that neither he nor England and pick up any supply centers from me this turn, chances are they're going to set themselves up pretty well for wrecking me next turn, especially if England were to make it into MAO. 3. Yes, you do have more enemies, but they're all concerned with other things for the most part. Italy and Austria are both fighting it out in the Balkans and trying to move on Turkey. Russia, who probably should be going after you, inexplicably isn't. 4. Austria-Italy isn't something people who aren't you need to be worrying about. Well, maybe you and Turkey, but that's it. And considering that it would be better for me to see you utterly destroyed, I don't have much of a problem with that. |
|
Autumn, 1902: 1)I'm sorry, I meant 5. 2) Germany will not be in a good place to attack France next turn because I have to pull all my units back on defense. 3) two people moved next to German supply centers this turn. That counts as being concerned. And there is no reason for Russia to move on Germany when there are no good supply centers near him and england is moving in from the north. 4) Russia and turkey certainly need to worry about Austria-Italy. France will too once they finish in the East. England is the only one who has a lot of time left on that clock. |
|
Autumn, 1902: Hey guys, I'm going to Vienna for the weekend, and I don't know what my internet access is going to be like. Can we pause the game? If we don't I'll probably be forced into civil disorder
Spring, 1903: I'm fine to pause
Spring, 1903: BILL, COLEMAN, DAN ----- PAUSE THE GAME.
Spring, 1903: I just did, fartface.
Spring, 1903: WHY IS THE GAME NOT PAUSED?
Autumn, 1903: Dan, what the fuck are you doing?
Autumn, 1903: Also, DAN AND BILL PAUSE THE GAME. TEAGHAN IS NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO PUT IN MOVES IF YOU DON'T.
Autumn, 1903: Dan, what kind of favors are you getting from Matt in real life that could possibly warrant you giving him all of your home supply centers? Additionally, the fact that while the English are parading through the Red Square, you wage an unrelenting war on those who are not attacking you...you send your poor men, men whose wives are back in Moscow and St. Petersburg being hit on by English men, to fight and die in the harsh fields of Rumania. P.S. I hope you burn in Diplomacy hell for these most agregious sins against good Diplomatic play. This is probably the worst I've seen. Of course, in all likelihood Matt is playing in your place---because, let's face it, your play is absolutely in his favor. (Take shit from Joe - Give shit to Matt). GOOD DAY GENTLEMEN. GOOD DAY. |
|
Autumn, 1903: Gentlemen, thank you for pausing our increasing tumultuous game. I appreciate the actions of everyone of you. Except for the actions previously mentioned in Joe's post however. Those were not so good, especially since Matt is now going to send all his fleets down to destroy the poor people of France, because he's basically untouchable now.
Autumn, 1903: GameMaster: Norbert was banned: multi/invalid email.
Autumn, 1903: I'm sorry guys, I really attempted to be my own autonomous force when it came to web dips. I really did. But I as my past username would indicate, I cannot extricate myself from Matt's all encompassing, soothing web dips embrace. ALL HAIL ENGLAND.
Autumn, 1903: boo. also, did you guys get Joe banned or did the game get him on its own?
Autumn, 1903: I second the question... Also, when do all of you want to get this thing restarted?
Autumn, 1903: Also, how does one get banned?
Autumn, 1903: he was banned by the game because he had multiple accounts apparently. I'm ready for an unpause whenever
Autumn, 1903: Matt can probably just log onto Dan's account and unpause for him since he's apparently running every other aspect of Dan's game. But seriously, let's get this restarted.
Autumn, 1903: Well, let's see how this goes. Game's unpaused.
Autumn, 1903: nope, we are still waiting on the Turk
Autumn, 1903: and the greasy italian
Autumn, 1904: Make an order you English bastards, let's get a move on!
Autumn, 1908: congrats to Matt on his victory |
